I don't know if this is a bug that can be fixed or not but if you have another mod that uses the numpad (CarSpawner for me), you are unable to change options 1, 4, 7 which CarSpawner uses (even when the mod itself is disabled ingame). The only fix I have is just moving CarSpawner.asi out of the folder but then now I don't have a car spawner. Is there anyway to have both mods at the same time and being able to use the menu?

I believe one of the in game carspawners allows you to change the keys it uses in an ini file. Maybe try that if its the mod you have. let me know the outcome, im interested to know.

i tried your last version and it's awesome.

 

a few points i would like to say:

 

1) if u can give us an INI file so we can re-bind the keys (as stated - the car spawner uses the same kes [0 1 4 7]).

 

2) some clothing options work and some don't and some work somtimes while not ALL the time. for example - niko's options dont work. i can randomise him but not select each shirt\pants\etc. can this be improved?

 

3) same goes for the speach - it usually doeesnt work. personally i dont use it at all, but others do.

im using the car spawner too and the 0 functionality seems really cool. it's a shame to miss it. (for some reason the carspawner overpowers your mod. i can spawn cars with the 0 key but not use it as it's meant to be used in your mod

This one is an .asi file. I can't change it.

1) I Might provide key binding in future but the real problem here is the car spawner, player selector can be disabled in game by pressing * once or twice allowing any other mod to use the numpad, its up to other mods to at least do that. if not providing full keybinding.

 

2) nicos are disabled for now as some items crash the game when you cycle to them, i could create a black list and omit them but you can always buy nicos cloths.Also most of the main story characters don't have alternative clothing options.

 

3) many speech commands are hit and miss for the civilians, theres no way to detect what they can and cant say so for now the only way is to put them all on the list. Police and gangs are more reliable as i fine tuned the list better. but it varys more for civilians.

 

4) As i said i have maximized compatibility its up to others to do the same.

 

 

 

Changing hotkeys:

The hotkeys are defined in CarSpawner.ini, so if something isn't working,

delete CarSpawner.ini and try with the default hotkeys.

The lines are pretty self explanatory. The keys are set as virtual key code values.

For example, if you want the spawn key to be F5, you would have spawn=116 in the file.

That's the same one. My version didn't have the .ini but this fixed it. Problem solved. Thank you! Now I can fully enjoy your mod.

hey co6alt, i noticed u gave the swat model an upright position but carrying 2 hands weapons (like the AK or M4 or combat shotgun etc) will not play the proper animation. it will use the one-handed weapons animation.

 

with the swat guys, that are supposed to be the most weapon experts, it really bugs the eye - seeing them carry weapons in such an un-professional way.

 

should be a quick fix, i assume.

Skin number 187 is stript club white and black security. I think he looks gangsta

can someone help me?My game crashed when i was in a cutscene with another player ( altough i knew it was bad i forgot to switch it to niko ) and now my game wont load my saved games .It loads until it says Loading----Story complete and than it crashes to desktop

So how can i solve this problem?

here's what u do:

 

first u need to know your save with the other character is doomed.

 

1) now, go to your saves folder and delete the save u think was bad.

(do u remember which save that was? the most lower one is 12. the first one is number 1)

i think u should try and delete the last (12th) file. perhaps it's the autosave slot.

 

2) delete that save. (either number 12 or the save slot u think u corrupted)

 

3) load the game again. when the game tries to load your last saved game it will fail and start a new game for you. once u are again with roman in his black cab u can load another saved game and continue from there.

Is anyone having a problem where u cycle through the characters and game crash

when i cycle through the characters it randomly crashes

 

"gtaiv has stopped working"

 

im also using the simple native trainer by dualcore***

I tried what u told me topeira and i deleted the only savefile i had in My Documents . It was SGTA412 , but i remember i saved on 2 slots. And now i dont have any savefile in my folder but i still have it in recycle bin the one i`ve deleted

And the problem is the same, it crashes.

every time i change a char it crashes my game. but only 1 time it didn't crash my game. and i found this mod really cool!
