In my triple science classes there is a guy who recently got dumped by his girlfriend and she was in year 8 (13 years old) Hes 15 so people constantly make fun of him. One of my sisters friends came for a sleep over a month ago and I really like her. Shes cool, likes games and is fit. Shes 13 though. When I told my sister and she told her she ended her relationship with her boyfriend who is also ironically 2 years older than her. There's relationships out there with age distances of 10 years and more and there is nothing really wrong with them. Mind you, from a much older perspective, assuming you're 15 or so.. trip Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 (edited) the distance matters less as you get older. i know someone who is under 40 and married to someone in their 60s - very happily mind you girls develop faster then boys. so a 15yr old boy might actually equal a 13yr old girl my concern would be 'relations'. a 15yr old boy might be 'ready for and wanting some action' where as a 13yr old girl might think differently. I know somebody that is 21 and he is going out with somebody that is 15. That is just plain freaky. Yeah, but a difference of three years is negligible when we're talking about people in their twenties. People in their teens are a bit different. I mean, when I was 15, I would have to be a total pedophile to be interested in any of the 13 year olds I knew of in the least bit; they were all flat-chested, annoying imbeciles. I think that teens just mature at such dramatically different rates that it's a problem. At least in the whole 13-17 range. I'm not saying it's wrong or you shouldn't do it, if you can relate to her and like her, go for it. I'm just saying I never could.
