GilesB Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 Hi there It's probably something really easy but I've killed everyone in the casino, got to the roof, killed the SWAT team but haven't shot down the chopper... but every time I walk to the chute I just walk thru it! I've shot down the chopper, which just means I get shot by a meaner chopper I've hidden and hoped they thing will go away I've even used up all my weapons in the hope of getting the chute But nothing. Have been stuck on this for 2 weeks now PLEASE someone out there tell me what I'm doing wrong. Its probably something painfully easy, but I don't get it (I'm 40+ so go easy on me...) Flesh-n-Bone Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 When you're standing next to the parachute press TAB if you're on PC and L1 (PS2). You wont pick it up quickly because you already have the night vision goggles from the same slot. Once you have the parachute don't bother shooting down the chopper unless you're low on health, then lean forward and open it once you are nearly at the same level as the roof with the getaway chopper (it will help if you snipe the two SWAT guys guarding it on the roof from where you pick up the parachute before continuing). Flesh-n-Bone Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 If you take down the chopper you'll get 4 stars and it'll be hard to escape, but if you don't bother it and just use the parachute to get a car and escape on ground then you'll only have 2 stars and it shouldn't be tough. It looks as though you will miss it really easily but you will float over towards the roof. Then, when you get near it, just open the parachute and land. Hell, i've even overshot the whole entire roof once because i was trying to do it without opening the parachute at all. But, as said, you do not have to actually get to the heli.
