Besides, why would they hunt you down for enhancing a texture or two? And how? This isn't CSI, they'd need a bunch of permits to search your IP, talk to your ISP and so on. And as long as you don't try to redistribute or make profit off of R*'s work then your in the clear. Either way your safe dude. Mod the game how ya like. On my box it says "supports 64-bit", and all the sh*t in the box runs in 32-bit only. So with all the 32-bit stuff I can do whatever I want, right? If it was Marvel you'd be f*cked they'll sue anyone who even mentions one of their copyrighted products. Everything in this game is R*'s intelectual property, not yours (except for stuff they licensed for the game, like the music). "Oh but i paid for the game and it is mine!!1 Wrong, you own a license to use (play) the game, you dont own the content (the content is worth millions $ lol). But posting exploded files and modding tools is a gray area. but rockstare seems to not care and its not worth fighting over. i would not worry about that at all. they know this is the pc and people are going to anyways. now making copy's of the disk and giving or selling it is something they will not like. or using the mods or hacks public online matches is not good. and if you want to be say i would not even use it on online privet matches. but the most they will do is ban you from windows live. modding probably voids something like tech support warranty. if that even exist.
