I've re-installed the game this monday, and when i started the game a message box apeared saying that i had to update Windows Games Live, before starting the game...with a link: http://www.rockstargames.com/support/IV/PC/GFWLupdate/ this link take us to update page, where it says that this problem (the update cannot be made ingame) will be "addressed in a future game patch. We apologize for any inconvenience." i think this is good news.... i didn't get this the first time i installed the game, so i assume this is new..... if not... sorry!!! He doesn't mean the patch itself, but what's written under it: Grand Theft Auto IV requires that this update take place outside of the game as there is a known issue when updating Games for Windows - LIVE from within the game. He doesn't mean the patch itself, but what's written under it: Grand Theft Auto IV requires that this update take place outside of the game as there is a known issue when updating Games for Windows - LIVE from within the game. I got the game after the first patch was out.... and i didn't get this message... i only got it when i reinstalled the game, this monday... for me it's recent... Got a mail from Rockstar just now, sticky this: "Due to NDA's we are unable to discuss any future releases before we are allowed to, be that a patch or a new game coming out, we are also not told of release dates until they are known in the main gaming news press."
