x cmon3y x
After playing the game from anywhere to 15-40min the games graphics gun on the fritz, sometimes resulting in a BSOD I am running a GTX 260 Core 216 @ 59-70C load temps. (Corsair 650W its getting plenty of power!) I have tried reinstalling the game and 180.84 drivers with no luck. It worked fine on 32bit Vista but all these problems started when I updated to 64bit Vista and GTA IV is the only game to have this problem Looks more like graphical errors on the software part then artifacts, any ideas how to fix this? I have about had it with this trash of a game
Lastsource
Perhaps you should ask rockstar, it could be that it is not a bug but meant to be that way
Tuba3
Whats your resolution and other settings? I bet them are too high. This game NEEDS super-computer to play even with minimum settings so lower your graph settings and see if it runs okay then. See my signature for advice and if its not working even with all other programs turned off lower them until it works. (i guess you have quad processor already and minimum 4gb ram, if you dont, UPGRADE, there is no way around like i found out eventually.) thales100
Core 2 Duo E8400 OC'd to 3.8GHz Hows the CPU temps on full load ? If you can run Everest or BurnIn or any similar software and stress your CPU , using of course the same oc settings youre running GTA 4, and see how it goes.
