Just a little game, see if you can get where I am in Liberty City

 

 

Rules:

 

I will accept the road I am on if it includes the road to left and right of where I am

 

Will also accept the building I am standing in front of

 

Or a screenshot of the location.

 

First correct answer receives nothing, well maybe a cookie but that's all I got.

 

After I get the first correct answer I will do another one or if willing the person who guesses it right can do the next one???

 

***Edit*** also I will reply to any questions, and will try to provide clues if nobody is getting it. I will keep checking back here often as I can to provide clues/help

 

******EDIT***** Once someone guesses it I will spell out my entire route as best I can so you know exactly where I went for those that didn't get it.

 

 

OK, let's get started:

I left my Albany Ave apartment and jacked a Landstalker

 

I headed for Frankfort High Station where I boarded the B Train

 

I exited the train at the second stop

 

I went down stairs and went straight along the footpath (Sidewalk) and at the first road I came to I jacked a Securicar

 

I immediately turned right and headed north

 

I went over 1 intersection (1 block) and turned left

 

I followed this road as it curved around to the right then turned left at the first intersection I came to

 

Immediately turning left again at the next intersection, this road went uphill slightly

 

I reached another T-intersection and went left again

 

I continued straight along this road for a little while and as I was half way across a bridge over water I crashed, I was going so fast the car was totalled so I left the vehicle and jacked a Virgo

 

I continued over the bridge and then took the first road to the right

 

Then turned right again and followed along this road as it curved around before going right at the first intersection I came to, it was a one way road and I was going the wrong way, immediately crashed in to a taxi, the driver pulled me from the car and was going to beat me but I pulled a gun in time and scared him off. I got back in the car and continued along this road

 

At the very next road I came to I turned right

 

Then left before immediately exiting the car and going down to the subway

 

I boarded the A train

 

I exited the 8 train at the 5th stop and went down stairs

 

At the bottom of the stairs I turned left and crossed the road in front of me

 

I stood on the footpath for a while waiting for some cop cars to leave, then jacked a Vigero

 

I seemed to be going around in circles for a while before heading to the right an through a short tunnel

 

I followed along this road for a while, it passed over a large bridge and body of water below

 

I went over two intersections after the bridge and crashed at the 3rd intersection I came to, I was going so fast the crash left me seeing stars

 

I exited the vehicle and needing some fresh air I ran, continuing on the same road, west

 

I decided to turn in to the first alleyway I came to on the right hand side, I followed it as it went left, then through a quick right, left (west)

 

As I came out on the next road I spotted and Banshee, I quickly jacked it but unfortunately the cops were there to see it

 

I headed north along this road with the cops on my ass, going as fast as I could I lost track of the amount of roads I crossed over but just before this road went up hill I turned left

 

As I rounded the corner the cops were gone, I continued straight along this road, going over another bridge and water

 

I kept going on this road, up hill, following it around forever, I went over another bridge and water, and then yet another bridge and water

 

I finally reached the end of this road as it went back down hill, I took the first turn to the left

 

Then the next left again

 

I went straight along this road before turning right at the 4th road I came to

 

I then took the next left

 

I parked on the left hand side of the road just before I entered the next intersection

Ok, a clue,

 

I came down from the station, stayed on that sidewalk from the stairs, you come to a t-intersection, I jacked the Securicar on the | (east/west) not the - (north/south) section, does that make sense?? I then turned right (heading north), not able to go straight cause there is a building there, only choices were left or right, I went right. Hope this helps you and anyone else trying to solve this.

 

If you read the whole thing you probably don't really need to start from the beginning either.

 

If nobody gets this by tomorrow (Adelaide, AU time) I will post some more clues.

Well sorry but for now I don't want to say too much, want to try and give other ppl a chance too. All I will say is, try it, you might be right cause I felt the clue was very obvious in two places. I did consider a third clue but decided to hold that back till later, plus if you find the later two then you wont need the third one I was thinking of.

Ok it seems nobody is getting this so here are some more clues/hints:

 

I headed for Frankfort High Station where I boarded the B Train

**Make sure your going to Frankfort High NOT Frankfort Low, there is a difference, you can catch the same train but Frankfort High is the one above ground, not subway

 

I boarded the A train

I exited the 8 train at the 5th stop and went down stairs

**Note I boarded a A Train, I got off the 8 Train...Same train but it does make a difference

 

I exited the 8 train at the 5th stop and went down stairs

At the bottom of the stairs I turned left and crossed the road in front of me

**I was tempted to go overseas but I couldn't afford the ticket

then jacked a Vigero

I seemed to be going around in circles for a while before heading to the right an through a short tunnel

**I think this is the most obvious clue I gave...I was seeing **STARS** after coming off a bridge

 

As I rounded the corner the cops were gone, I continued straight along this road, going over another bridge and water

I kept going on this road, up hill, following it around forever, I went over another bridge and water, and then yet another bridge and water

I finally reached the end of this road as it went back down hill, I took the first turn to the left

**As far as I know there is only one road long enough to cross over 3 bridges + water - check your maps

 

**Hint: Use the in game map, it shows you the subway, no other maps I've seen so far show the layout of the railway and stations, above and below ground

**Hint: I am standing outside a well known business in LC

 

 

Ok that's it, see how you go with these extra clues and to be honest you wouldn't really need to travel the entire route in order to work out where I went

OK as promised here is the entire route I took, this time with street names, station names, etc

I left my Albany Ave apartment (Algonquin) and jacked a Landstalker right outside. I didn't take note of exactly which route I took and it didn't matter, I went to Frankfort High Station (Elevated NOT subway) where I boarded the B Train (B train is the name while above ground (or that's how it seems to work. Train heads north slightly then East to Bohan). I exited the train at the second stop (Windmill Station in Bohan). I went down stairs (leading South) and went straight along the footpath (Sidewalk)(Guantanamo Ave) and at the first road I came to I jacked a Securicar (I went straight along Guantanamo Ave till it meets Spin St)(The Securicar was on Spin St waiting for the traffic lights to change). I immediately turned right and headed North (along Guantanamo Ave). I went over 1 intersection (1 block) and turned left (now on Darkhammer St) I followed this road as it curved around to the right (changed in to Lompoc Ave) but then turned left at the first intersection I came to (the street has no name on my map) Immediately turning left again (now on Leavenworth Ave heading North) at the next intersection, this road went uphill slightly. I reached another T-intersection and went left again (now on Grand Boulevard/Northern Expressway going West). I continued straight along this road for a little while and as I was half way across a bridge over water (Northwood Heights Bridge) I crashed, I was going so fast the car was totalled so I left the vehicle and jacked a Virgo. I continued over the bridge and then took the first road to the right (again this street has no name on my map but was heading North) then turned right again (now on Grummer Road heading East) and followed along this road as it curved around before going right at the first intersection I came to (now going West on Vauxite St), it was a one way road and I was going the wrong way, immediately crashed in to a taxi, the driver pulled me from the car and was going to beat me but I pulled a gun in time and scared him off. I got back in the car and continued along this road. At the very next road I came to I turned right (now going North on Astoria). Then left (Wardite St) before immediately exiting the car and going down to the subway (Vespucci Circus Station subway) and I boarded the A train (This is name below ground and train heads East, then South, then East again as it goes over the Algonquin Bridge). I exited the 8 train (its name above ground) at the 5th stop (Francis International Airport) and went down stairs. At the bottom of the stairs I turned left and crossed the road in front of me and I stood on the footpath for a while waiting for some cop cars to leave (on the Airport Terminal side looking back towards the station), then jacked a Vigero. I seemed to be going around in circles for a while (I really did, trying to decide which way I was going to go) before heading to the right an through a short tunnel (on to the Algonquin - Dukes Expressway heading West). I followed along this road for a while, it passed over a large bridge and body of water below (Algonquin Bridge obviously) I went over two intersections (West along Kunzite St) after the bridge and crashed at the 3rd intersection I came to, I was going so fast the crash left me seeing stars (This was the biggest clue, I crashed right in the middle of Star Junction still heading West on Algonquin Bridge/Kunzite St, it was a big smash too, still had my finger on the accelerator and writing down where i was going, not paying any attention to what was in front of me, sent a few cars and my car flying, luckily Nico didn't come out of the car, it just rolled and spun a few times but managed to hang on, but the car wouldn't start after that, regret I didn't stop to save the clip). I exited the vehicle and needing some fresh air I ran, continuing on the same road, west (still on Kunzite St) I decided to turn in to the first alleyway I came to on the right hand side (no idea what its called but was going north and there was a car park in there which is why I then turned left), I followed it as it went left, then through a quick right, left (west). As I came out on the next road (Frankfort Ave) I spotted and Banshee, I quickly jacked it but unfortunately the cops were there to see it. I headed North along this road (Frankfort Ave) with the cops on my ass, going as fast as I could I lost track of the amount of roads I crossed over but just before this road went up hill I turned left (Going West towards Hickey Bridge). As I rounded the corner the cops were gone, I continued straight along this road, going over another bridge and water (Hickey Bridge) I kept going on this road, up hill (going straight on up the Plumbers Skyway), following it around forever (still on Plumbers Skyway), I went over another bridge and water, and then yet another bridge and water. I finally reached the end of this road as it went back down hill (end of Plumbers Skyway), I took the first turn to the left (Asahara Road going West) then the next left again (South along Babbage Drive). I went straight along this road before turning right at the 4th road I came to (Farnsworth Road going West). I then took the next left (Vitullo Ave) I parked on the left hand side of the road just before I entered the next intersection (right outside the Alderney [email protected]).

 

 

I really did drive the entire route and I did catch those trains, got off at each of the stations and all the other stuff such as cops and accidents really did happen to, surprised I didn't have more trouble with the police than I did. I did do all for a couple of reasons being I wanted to make sure it all worked, I was just making it up as I went along anyway, and I just love messing around in GTA4, GTA SA, infact GTA anything.

Ok lets get in to another one, see if you can work out where I am this time. Same rules etc as before and if takes too long for someone to get it I will post clues.

 

Ok here it is:

Standing in front of the Alderney [email protected] I was feeling bored after spending time on the net and drinking way too much coffee. I was feeling pumped from all the caffeine and was ready to see some sights in LC.

 

I didn't see any vehicles I liked so I turned right and headed down the street on the footpath.

 

I went across one intersection and found a Firetruck which I jacked.

 

Unfortunately the cops saw me so I speed off straight ahead (North), trying to lose them

 

I went over two intersections before turning right at the next one (3rd intersection), by this time I had lost the cops

 

I went across one intersection then turned right at the next one, now heading south

 

The phone rang but it was only Roman so I hang up without answering and kept on driving

 

I went along till the end of this road and turned right

 

I went straight along this road

 

At the end of this road I went left and then immediately left again, it was almost a U-turn

 

I turned right at the first road I came to, then up and over a small bridge

 

Then turned right and headed straight along this road, half way along I saw a PCJ 600, I got out of the firetruck and stole the bike

 

I then continued along this same road heading west

 

I was about to turn right at the first road I came to but then I stopped

 

I noticed a small gap in a fence on the right side, I went through it

 

Going west a little, then north I put the accelerator flat and before I knew it I was flying through the air

 

When I finally landed I was still heading straight and north along a small road

 

I turned right when this road ended, then turned left at the first road I came to

 

This small road went uphill slightly and then I burst through some gates at the top of this road where it ended

 

I turned left but went on the wrong side of the road and hit a cop car, 1 star

 

I went speeding straight along this road heading west

 

I went long this road for a while as it twisted around, lost the cops, continued on further and at one point I was tempted to stop and go off roading in a 4x4

 

I changed my mind however as I didn't see any 4x4s and it was raining as usual

 

So I continued along this same road for a while until it finally ended

 

At this point I turned right and went straight along this road till it also ended, then went right again

 

I went east on this road, heading down hill. then down another hill, I started feeling a little claustrophobic

 

Eventually I felt fine again but I was all wet, so when this road ended I turned left and stopped at the first subway I came to

 

I headed down in to the subway to spend some time drying off, I boarded the K train

 

Once I sat down I switched camera to cinematic view and settled in for a long journey, time to dry off and hopefully the rain to stop

 

I got off at the 8th stop

 

I didn't leave the subway however, I then boarded the 3 train and again switched camera to cinematic

 

I got off at the 6th stop

 

I thought about going up stairs but decided not and headed down stairs

 

At the bottom of the stairs I turned right, jumped over a small fence and kept walking north

 

As I was crossing the first intersection I came to I saw a Virgo coming from the east, I jacked it

 

The driver tried to pull me back out but I put my foot down and headed around to the right and headed north

 

This road curved around to the west and went uphill

 

Eventually at the end of this road I came to a 4 lane main road, 2 lanes each way, I turned right and headed north

 

As this road went up, then down again I saw a Phantom parked on the **EDIT: left*** hand side, I got out of the Virgo and jacked the Phantom

 

The cops were on me again so I pulled back out on to the 2x2 main road, headed north but then turned left immediately

 

Just before a bridge I went on to a small trail/track on the right hand side with the cops still chasing me

 

With the camera angel and height it was often difficult to see but I managed to lose the cops after a short distance but kept going along this trail anyway

 

Eventually however I got to a point where I felt it was dangerous to go any further

 

So I stopped the truck and stole a NRG 900 that was parked there

 

I headed west back along the same track I had arrived here on and came back out on to the same road

 

I went right and then right again and decided it was better to pay the price

 

I was heading north and at the end of this road I turned left

 

I went to the end of this road and then turned left again, I was on the wrong side of the road so I crossed over to the correct side and followed this road around for a while

 

Just before I came to a bridge, I turned left

 

Headed down hill and then took the first on the right which took me up and over a bridge and water

 

I then took the very next chance to turn right, over another bridge and water

 

Down the end of the bridge, over one intersection and then turning left, I was now heading south

 

I was going fast along here going south, down through a tunnel/underpass/bridge

 

Then through a quick left/right kink

 

I lost track of the number of intersections I went over but eventually I turned left, passing through a large archway

 

There were two of these and I headed through the one on the left, forgetting this was the US and not Australia

 

It took me up and over another bridge and water, I was swerving a lot along here trying to avoid on coming traffic but eventually I was hit by some jerk changing lanes

 

It sent me flying through the air and tumbling along the ground, I wasn't dead but was close to it.

 

Not to worry I jumped back on the bike and continued over the bridge

 

When I reached the other side I went to the right and on to the correct side of the road, but maybe not, I headed west a little and then down the exit immediately after the bridge ends

 

At the bottom of the exit I turned right

 

Then immediately right, and then right again

 

I went under a small bridge/underpass and then turned left

 

At the end of this road I turned left again and headed straight, I had a homely feeling and hopped off the bike and grabbed a quick bite to eat

 

Feeling better I hopped back on the bike and continued on south

 

I then turned left at the end of this road, then went along straight for a while, it went under another bridge/underpass and along the coast

 

I kept going along here, no going in circles this time, I kept on going

 

Then took an exit which seemed to take me around in circles, but I knew I was ok

 

After this I came to a set of gates on the right side, I went in

 

I went along the pathway and turned left at the next pathway

 

I then stopped and got off the bike, climbing up a long ladder

 

When I reach the very top I stopped and took in the beautiful view

 

 

 

Where am I??

Try following the route I took and work out where I am. I think there are plenty of clues this time round but if nobody gets it I will add some more clues to it. Good luck.

I'm soo close to the end. I just got confused when it said you went into a gate then went down the pathway and took a left at the next one. Did you go down that pathway at all? I'm not even sure if I went into the right gate because there's no ladders where I'm at. Or at least very long ones.

I figured it out. I was at the airport haha. You're in meadow park and the game says your at Cleaves Avenue. Just below you is a baseball diamond. Straight ahead is two identical towers.

 

That was a long journey wow. It wasn't too hard. I liked it.

No I did not visit the airport. As I said I didn't go around in circles, in my first one I did which was a clue about the small ring road at the airport, this time I didn't go around in circles, I continued on past the airport, to the next exit. The gate I talk about is for walking not driving. The place I am at is also more for walking and not driving.

 

Hope that helps, get back on the road you got to the airport on, but dont go to the airport.

Also it was gtafreakgamer who guessed correctly with the last one, so I think he should be doing the next one, if he doesn't want to then I think I'd like to hear from other people on who can do the next one. Either gtafreakgamer, myself, or I'll accept ideas from other people who played along.

 

I also want the next one to continue on from where the last one finished, so the story/game keeps going.
