DC93
Name: N/A Size: 64x64 Theme: Moving image, CCPD's specialty What I want done is pretty much a rotating ball (like a pool ball if you will) of the Welsh flag. Resources: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/simon.winkler..._flag_large.JPG Colors: Can't put a color scheme for this can you? Additional info: That's all I want done Or if you want to do this one too you can; Size: 64x64 Theme: Transparent, non-moving. I'd like done is an 8 ball that has the Welsh flag wrapped around it, but still look realistic and like a pool ball? Also could you replace the number 8 with 93 in the same style font? Resources: Flag: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/simon.winkler..._flag_large.JPG 8 Ball; here. Colors: Again not available I think. Additional info: I want just the ball, not the image Thanks to anyone who does this/these.
Wightboy
CCPD 'speciality' is not to deal with things that arnt like... 2d thats been extruded, If you know what i mean (and as far as I know doesnt have another 3d package) he uses Xara (generally) which doesnt let you have True 3d image onto it, like spheres ect Only 2d images, like text or disks that can have depth added to them Same goes for me, I made this though, Not what you asked for but as good as I can get http://www.isarapix.org/pix36/1231356894.gif I have 3dsmax which could make what your asking for but havnt had much of a chance to learn it yet Xara is not really a Logo package at all. Were pushing it making these logos, it was designed for fonts. Edited February 4, 2009 by Wightboy
MentalNut
is it possible to do these spining images with photoshop?
Wightboy
is it possible to do these spining images with photoshop? yes, If you individually made each frame with depth using a solid shadow But practically, ... no Xara3d. Xara site ------> http://www.xara.com/uk/ they make other small gfx packages too Very neat package. Really easy to make logos/3d text, almost too easy. (im starting to find limitations becuase its just too simple) And its extremely cheap too

DC93
Thanks for the images guys, CCPD you're on the right track, is it possible to make it look glossier and more like a 3D ball? Unless my eyes are dodgy it looks like it concaves inwards. Take your time on it, I'm in no rush to change my avatar right now for obvious reasons
GentlemanSquid
yeah it looks like a normal circle with something just passing by. you need something to make it look like its spinning.
DC93
I am allowed to bump this, right? I'll use Wightboy's Cymru avatar, but anything like I originally requested would be appreciated, cheers.

DC93
That'll do, could do with smoother edge and shinier finish but now I'm just being too exact. Thanks!
