Quite. These beta shadows are soft and warm, where in the final release, they're rough and grainy.

Yes, it can. But that has nothing to do with these nice looking shadows. Besides, R* hasn't used Photoshop since GTA III.

I once read that SA had awesome graphics and they made it look like sh*t because of the PS2

agree,R* is f*cking lazy.people see GTA BETA always great and awesome,because they're lazy so they delete those stuff.so why delete?because they haven't finish yet.

GTA IV graphic look cool,but after i get it on XBOX,i just so strange because they are nothin look like the pics they have post

The only scripter i have in the team is nixolas, i've asked him if he can realize some of this stuff as .asi scripts.

 

Like most of you guys see i took a long break of modding, and i hope to get more stuff done when i get holidays (next week).

 

xsist will help me with the GTA San Andreas Can converts. icon14.gif

 

v3 will be the last version, sadly i lost the interest in continue this mod and a lot member seem to don't help me anymore,

however i'll see how it comes along.

 

I got also plans for making a EFLC Beta Mod (Beta Mod for TLAD and TBOGT), for PC of course. smile.gif

I had the same idea, but i guess no have beta things in the screenshots of EFLC.

Beta Virgo is completed (made in some seconds biggrin.gif).

Some cars in IV have white wall tires and their tire textures are named "virgo_tyrewhitewall", curiously the Virgo in final IV don't have white wall tires,

which let me think it had them in the beta. It looks now like a pimper's car. cool.gif

This page on GTAWiki has some interesting things. BTW, we could also use some of the beta textures and models that were hidden on GTA IV PC and replace the files in EFLC. Some of the files that were from the EFLC beta include:

 

- Beta LAD bikes.

 

- 3 golf club models (missing textures) .

 

- The 'stairs' of the plane from that one mission.

 

- A beta texture from the dance mini-game.

 

Not to mention we could try and replace the character models in EFLC with the original ones in vanilla GTA IV.

 

Personally, I would recommend doing an EFLC beta mod.

 

I'll post pics of these beta models and textures if desired.

and the handling lines of the planes(DODO, ANDROMADA, FIGHTER) and the swat truck (APC)

and the helitours mavericks were normal mavericks

Well, Rocktar said that planes never were planned for IV (i guess it was in 2007), so this stuff not gonna go in IV with my mod. wink.gif

 

That SWAT vehicles most likely refers to the SWAT Boxville, because the handling doesn't look like it's from a APC/Tank, cause a APC weights alot more. So i'll use that handling for the SWAT Boxville (NOOSE Enforcer). smile.gif

 

I'm not sure that helitours maverick were normal mavericks. whatsthat.gif

 

@quechus13: Yes, your one look exactly like in that beta artwork, may i get permission to use it in the mod? I assume i get permission since you're in the team. biggrin.gif

 

Tommorow i'll do my driver licence theory test, so i need much success. biggrin.gif

And quechus, you made an M4 with ironsights, but the weapon on the picture is different, it's an M16.

Well what exactly do you Do ?

 

For me, I have to cut edges on the face of the model and shape them into their desired form

-Slowly start to smooth the faces

-To make light travel the best, I cut grids over every visible face about 12 * 12 grid

To get about 30000 + polygons (without using smooth or mesh smooth)

 

I can already tell how well light travels on your models by looking at it

I think there is high polygons but there is an improper smoothing process.

 

please show a wireframe of one of your models and we'll see

The problem about that is that Zmodeler has a pretty weird 3DS Importer

 

it takes away some smoothing groups and unwelds the vertices that were welded before in 3Ds Max

thats why some of my weapons look weird in IV

 

also the M4 of IV is not High Poly its more Med Poly

i make everything from scratch i dont modify IV's models

 

even IV's Models are not fully welded

 

i can go to element mod and select the stock and delete it and make one from scratch and done

if not then ill select it with face mode
