Hi all,

 

It's long time ago that I have not played to gta (and make script..)

 

Is there a manifest somewhere that lists the functions that have been modified by programmers of gta after 1.4 update (1.4 I think ..) ?

I'm trying to find version 0.4.0; because I get an error.

Edit: Woops, I'm in the C++ topic and I'm writing C#....

I don't know if C++ ScriptHook has the Around() function...

 

 

 

AAHR DAMNIT

 

Anybody knows how to get the coordinates AROUND the player? I'm breaking my head on this.

You can find a lot of things you may not know about, by just entering a dot behind your function (if using Visual Studio, which you should do).

Like, when you have Player.Character.Position, add another dot and you should find "Around()".

 

Vector3 randomPositionNearPlayer = Player.Character.Position.Around(5f);

 

 

Another useful one is this one:

 

Vector3 offset = new Vector3(0f, 3.5f, 0f);Player.Character.GetOffsetPosition(offset);

 

 

Less readable but more common:

 

Vector3 inFrontOfPPlayer = Player.Character.GetOffsetPosition(new Vector3(0f, 3.5f, 0f));    // 3.5 (units) in front of the character

Would it be a good idea to share cleaned up functions from ScriptingDirty.h/fixed functions from Scripting.h? I think it would really help starters making mods, because in my case, the ones in Scripting.h weren't sufficient and there was no info to be found on many in SciptingDirty.

How can i play a custom effect sound within a script?

 

I have a wav file in an audio folder into the script folder.....i'd like to play that file (without edit ivaud file etc with spark).....can i do that?

i've tried game.playaudioevent but it didn't work. i think it works with default game sound.

Hi!

I tried use global variables, but game crash.

 

Game::SetGlobalValue<int>(10978, 1);

 

 

And what Global variable is Mission flag? I think 10978

(SetMissionFlag - is NOT set mission flag, because arter SetMissionFlag(true) game save enabled)
