Great for someone but it pretty much ruins the game having someone else play it for you. unless you lost your savegames some how?

You have to use Rick's hack, so multiplayer is disabled

But, if you want, rename the save in a empty slot and you could use you original saves smile.gif

Anyway, backup saves life biggrin.gif

The saves are for ppl who wants to play a certain mission (for example Three Leaf Clover) without re-start the whole game, or who has a bug in a mission, etc. biggrin.gif

sry for my bad english smile.gif

Your english is good and thanks alot, I can finally skip the mission: "Clean Getaway", it had alot of bugs in it, so it couldn't be completed. Cheers icon14.gif

since the gta-expert site seems to be dead, is there any other way to get the saves? Would be nice, since the helicopter ruins it for me ...

Check links in first page. If you find a not-working link, change .com into .it (it's a long story, can't explain here smile.gif )

@Tazoka: thanks you too smile.gif

Hello everyone. I've completed all the instructions step by step didn't missed anything but now my game it just don't open. I remove xlive.dll and CopyLiveRecourses and tried to open the savegame like this "Load Failed" I updated my original version to version 1.0.7.0 but then I couldn't lose my wanted level at any mission and autosave was dissabled so I reinstalld it to original version in order to play.

How can I make the Wrapper work? I have the original game if this is the problem....

Hi I would like to know if the Ballad Of Gay Tony save game, mainly the last one (PC) is 100% or if it is just the main story ?

I have completed the game on PS3 angry.gif cr@p graphics

I would like to know if the save is just the main story as I would like to have that so I can do all the side missions, pigeons, races, fighting and so forth.... with mods of course

I finally have my new pc up and running so I will be buying the game today and will install it biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

Thanks

It's fully 100%.

Hi thanks I thing you might have misunderstood

I meant to ask if # 25 - Departure Time [Download PC] was a 100% save file or if its the missions only aka the vanilla saves (The vanilla saves for PS3 were like that, only the missions complete)

That's why I'm asking, I get that TBOGT 100% by Lokrath [Download PC] is 100% as it states that

please let me know thank's

Try:

C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames [Vista]

C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames [XP]

You'll need to show hidden files. smile.gif

I'm not sure what you did wrong, but I'll show you the steps.

1. Download the latest version of XLiveless.

2. extract and replace xlive.dll at the GTA IV main directory.

3. Put the savegame at one of the directories you quoted, based on which OS you have.

Hope that helps. smile.gif

Hey all,

I have the same problem.

Recently bought a new PC and grabbed my GTA IV save files from the correct place, but didn't take my Xlive folder (didn't know until now).

I've tried all sorts, online/ offline/ and no profiles - logged in to GFWL , Xlive wrapper, xliveless, some one else's Xlive folder, etc etc.

Cant get any of it to work at all.

By the looks of it, most people get success with XLiveless, but i can't seem to at all. - The game either doesn't load, or the saves just don't show up.

My Xliveless version is: 0.999b7

My GTA iv version 1.0.7.0 according to the .exe file

Is there an updated xliveless? wow.gif

Thanks

Here's an older mini-guide of mine about how to use xliveless to load save files, should hopefully help you. icon14.gif

First, you need to install xliveless. Simply put the xlive.dll in the game directory. Now, download and save game and place it here (change the system driver letters accordingly):

Windows XP SP3: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames

Windows Vista: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames

Windows 7: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames

Now, to place the savegames in the proper directory, you can go by one of the following two procedures:

a) Create the following folder structure in the "My Documents" folder manually (Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames)

b) Simply start GTAIV, create a new game from the menu and save the game taking the first opportunity. Now you can look for the folder in "My Documents" and drop any savegames you have there.

I'm not sure it it'll work, but please DO try to re-download this xliveless and DO follow each step above, it might be of help. icon14.gif

Tried this before, tried it again just now - didn't work.

Just says "No save games located on the hard drive"

presumably from the launcher you go :

play (offline)

play -

play - *Starting a new game*

<esc>

Game

load

and they should be there?

what i havent tried is downloading another save-file - i will try that, if that works mine are likely corrupt or in the wrong folder names or something

Thanks

SizZa~
