All work which is AWESOME, but I get a CTD outside the first safe house. I tried a save a bit further into the game (i.e. a different safe house) then drove to the first one and still got a crash. Anyone else have this problem?

I think it might be whatever car is parked outside the first safe house that's causing the problem. Would someone be able to tell me what it is?

I think savegames could be loaded only with a GFWL offline profile.

Cant seem to get this to work, i'm using the latest version of GTA IV as i brought it through steam

 

if i use the xlivewrapper thing it just crashes the game, if i use the save game on its own

 

just comes up with an failed to load check your hard drive message

 

any suggestions?

@karim_johnson: you need Xlive Wrapper or Xliveless.

Which patch do you have? Which is your O.S.?

Ok I got a working xlive.dll and I can play save games now but how can I resave the game to be able to play without xlive.dll and be able to play online???

I hate limitations, there should be a way right!!!

Anyway, you could simply cut & paste xlive.dll in your Desktop when you want to play online. When you want to go back in single player, cut & paste from Desktop to GTA IV main folder..

GUYS im need a help...

 

i downloaded the save place in the right place (My Documents/Rockstargames/GTA IV/savegames ) cause im using Xliveless but when i start my game... it goes to teh 1º mission

and when i try to load manually its says that dont have savegames on the file... but is there!!!!!

 

at My Documents/Rockstargames/GTA IV/savegames

 

and the other original one ...

I bet it's the sign that says "Download" (which is english, to my knowlege.)

 

 

Anyone found a way how to play downloaded save games with the latest patch, if i put in that old .dll in the GTA IV map the game wont even start so it's not a solution.

Hi! HELP anyone! i downloaded the xlive thing and put it in my GTA main directory and also moved the xlive thing to the system 32 place in the zip file as u said( talking to Faggio but would appreciate anyones help) and i clicked on launch GTAIV and the launvher comes up and normally it takes a few secs and it goes into the game but after modding with this, it gets stuck there and after 10 or so minutes, it's still there! HELP!
