Flieboy101 Posted January 3, 2009 Share Posted January 3, 2009 I get this error every time I try to run the game after I reinstalled it today. Does anybody know a way to fix this problem? I have googled a lot and not found anything. I tried another reinstall and I tried to exclude it in avast but nothing helped. Anybody who helps will make me very appreciative! Anybody who helps will make me very appreciative! well the LAUNCHGTAIV.exe is (i think) part of the Securom protection.... completely guesing on this one....you could try one of these unisntall/resinstall both "rockstar social club/windows live for games" and log in to both (or just Rockstar Social Club) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Reinstall it using the GTA IV disk one 3. FRAGEYE Posted January 3, 2009 Share Posted January 3, 2009 Some firewalls still block the apps when allowing them. Disable firewall totally then try, als make sure RGSC and live e updated too as GTA 4 too. Make sure to have framework updates etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
