v00d00m4n
damn its really hard to look at stats and compare them/ hm 185.20 decreased performance for u, u should revert back to 181 or even better to 180.84 (for my Geforce 8 driver 181 performed slower then 180.84, seems that u never tried that version and skiped it) dont forget to clean up Nvidia card driver files with Driver Sweeper or Driver Cleaner.net before installing new or old one. Also try to defragment HDD (fragmentation may decrease performance) and turn off Clip capture in game settings and also try shader replacement for DX 10 (put all files from folder ATI_DX10 to NV7 and NV8 , for details look for Subject here Pinned and called Ultimate performance fix) also keep in mind that GTA 4 have memory leaks and have unstable performance and performance degradation tendency, so each time u runing it, FPS will be a way different))) Anyway u lucky u got over 25 fps, when my regular fps is 15 and average is 18 on dual core 2.6)) I just really hope for next patch with optimization, if Toronto will fail one more time then i will lose all hopes and maybe return to GTA 4 year or two later when i will have new much powerful PC or Laptop with 8 cores)) Edited January 3, 2009 by Voodooman Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/389963-omg-this-doesnt-make-sense/#findComment-1058842334 Share on other sites
