Talking about the spin off series "stories" San Andreas stories would be awsome !!!!!! But the psp wouldn't be able to handle all that data... So i think that Los santos stories would be a more realistic and great way of doing it... and you could have gang wars and buy businesses, go to the gym, hair cuts all of those features would remain. Obviously with a new character that is some how connected to grove street in a way... or the johnson family ! Or maybe you could be a ballas leader and the story shows how the ballas took over the city before cj came... with a bit of country side and towns aswell as people would complain if it was not there... I came up with this idea because los santos is my favourite part in SA and thats all it would need for me to really enjoy another Gta storyline that would keep me occupied until something big pulls off again ! If they did I would like it to be set in San Fierro and dealing with the Triad/Mountain Cloud Boys and some of the hispanic gangs who only had a very small story in SA. These would obviously be; Los Santos Stories, San Fierro Stories and Las Venturas Stories. Each would feature a completely independent storyline, main character and possibly independent time settings, though there would be the possibility of the stories intercepting somehow. Los Santos Stories: Would focus on the exploits of a young Balla, following his "career" with the street gang. Joining him as he enters the gang and departing just after The Ballas take complete control of Los Santos. It would be interesting to play the role of Brian's murderer too. This game would give us a real insight to gang life in Los Santos, and would be a lot grittier than San Andreas made it out to be. San Fierro Stories: Join Gui "Guppy" Pi as he leaves the crowded, poverty stricken streets of China in search of a new life in San Fierro. Guppy soon finds that his cross-continental trip will cost him a lot more than the large sum of money he paid The Triads. In debt to the criminals, he soon finds himself doing things he'd never thought he was capable of. Las Venturas Stories: "Welcome To Fabulous Las Venturas!" That's the sign that greeted Johnny Sindacco upon his arrival to the land of opportunities. His father's most trusted man, Johnny has been sent to Las Venturas to create a criminal empire from which The Sindaccos can take control of the state. To all of you guys: Though as much as possible, I would like to see IV-canon characters. III is not that refreshing anymore. Trash. Dumped. BUSTED. It is placed on the memories of each and every GTA fan, and we should not disturb it's silence. The III story book is closed, time to open and understand the stories behind GTA IV. There's still no evidence of Sony minimizing a complex Blu-ray system into the PSP's small compartment. Sony Entertainment America said they will stick to the Universal Media Disc as much as they can. The only current version of the PSP is the PSP-3000, a system which adds a mic and increases the screen resolution for the PSP-2000 (Slim & Lite). The DS, technically speaking, is vastly inferior to the PSP, yet offers new gameplay opportunities and a MUCH bigger installed base. However, despite the fact that I expect a lot of flaming for siding with the optomists on the HMV pre-order pages for both PSP and PS2 versions of SAS, I think it *could* happen. As no one else seems to have bothered to explain why they think it will or won't happen with any level of reasoning beyond "Dan Houser said something about GTA IV being where it's at" which is, in my humble opinion, a flawed argument (CTW is on a VASTLY inferior platform) - Despite The Introduction, there are many gangs and characters back stories that could be explored (Catalina for example, or her brother, who's name escapes me) - There is a decent sized PSP installed base which would buy SAS. Not to mention PS2 having the biggest installed base of current (I refuse to refer to it as last because it's still so widely supported) gen consoles - SAS could easily be made available on XBLA/M (as with SA being available on Xbox Orignals) and the Sony equivilent (I know nothing about such things in PS3 land, I bought a 360 largely as I didn't want to miss exclusive DLC) - The Wii could also handle a port in addition (or instead of PS2) - LCS, VCS & SAS could all be simulataeneously released as a triple pack, on one DVD, on PS2, Xbox 360 (or XBLA instead of DVD), PS3 (or equiv) and Wii - After the forthcoming DS GTA release, I'm not sure what else Rockstar Leeds might be working on, so why not do SAS? - Rockstar is first and foremost a business, and not of the indie record label ilk. Releasing LCS and VCS was pretty much selling out (and I'm not complaining, I thoroughly enjoyed both games) and is out to make a profit. Frankly there's too much money to be made to ignore this opportunity In terms of Chinatown Wars making an appearance on PSP, I'm less convinced. It certainly could happen, but personally I'd be worried putting the camera back in the same place as GTA IV on the PSP, in the same city design, would draw quite unfavorable feedback from critics and consumers alike. Dr.Killa Posted March 18, 2009 Share Posted March 18, 2009 i heard that fitting the entire city into a umd wouldnt be an obstacle, but stuff like cutscenes would strt being an issue along with speed, i mean look at lcs they fit the entire city in with no lag, while apparenty they got lazy with vcs which is way smaller city and had way more lag and glitches. who knows, rockstar always suprises us with little to work with. maybe it can install on memory stick to make it run better?(like ps3} Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If the PSP is so unworthy, why have they just made a Grand Theft Auto for DS, which is older than the PSP? And there's still a lot of games still being released for PSP. bloodyskies Posted March 22, 2009 Share Posted March 22, 2009 to reignite the discussion - I'm about to do what I suspect is the last story mission in Chinatown Wars and despite being on an techinically inferior platform to LCS and VCS, the story is more engaging, the missions are more varied, and overall the game is a whole lot more fun. While yes it's true in alot of cases it's not as much as you tried to make it seem in that post. I'm white and I was born and raised in Brooklyn and currently lives in Far Rockaway, Queens and I have always been immersed in the hip hop culture and rap music and the style so are you going to call me a "wigger" because of that? Also are you seriously saying you've seen more return to SA threads then Vice threads? There's 4 in the 1st 2 pages for both settings but there's more SAS stories threads then return to SA threads and the SAS threads aren't the typical remake Vice City threads and there's more of those remake Vice threads then anything. Also you speak of the so called IV bitchy threads but how many are there actually? That whole discussion has been talked about to death and I don't feel like getting into it again on the Next forums when I'm actively involved in it in the newer threads on the subject in the IV forums. Now if you were here after IV dropped then you'd have a point but the short time you've been here there has been what 20 of those threads at tops and most of them have just started re appearing in the last month or so. I'll admit when SA 1st came out an influx of "gangstas" did hit the internet hard but people using that wigger sh*t or blaming it on rap or SA is so dumb.
