Driver23
I've discovered that turning "Shadow Density" to 0 on night time makes game work much faster. Even on low-end PC game is running without freezing. As result we see, that most of cpu loading are come from sun lighting (HDR effects) and dynamic shadows which we see in the daytime. So I've decided that making midnight time for all day long is a good idea, especially for people who have a discomfort playing gta with low fps. I've tryed to modify "timecyc.dat" and turned the sun off, but dynamic shadows are still remaining in a daytime... Any ideas? PS Sorry for my English Edited January 3, 2009 by Driver23 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/389720-making-night-all-day-long/ Share on other sites
GTAMonkey2012
Try out this trainer: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=387974 Apart from everything else it gives the ability to set time and weather. It doesn't "fix" time it will move on from the time you set, but then all you need to do is alt-tab and set it again. Im hoping an update makes the time fixed but this is as good as it gets at the moment, and its really good. Your right on shadow density, it adds FPS hit for zero eye candy, just more crap rendered shadows I turn it to 0 every time.
