garfield2004b Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 (edited) Well, I can't make heads or tails about what the crap to do about the model if it were meant to be a player model, and not a swappable ped model. Ped models use only one texture. Player models get around this by using many more, but I've never rigged a SA player model... my work has been, as of yet, with VC. So I have no clue where to split the model to get the desired results. The model is already chopped up into 15 parts. EDIT: And the model weighs in at a hefty 15,000 verts. Well, when I try to save and re-import the UV file to the assigned section of the combined textures, it lays it on top of the old UV structure and screws it all up. VC peds can also have more than one texture. The only pedi rigged for VC was Link, and it had more than one texture. Replaced Tommy pretty well. The only problem is, he is too busy with studies to make the texture for it. I have no clue on how to texture and my rigging skills aren't the best, either.
