Where's Grand Theft Auto 2? and Grand Theft Auto London? + It's GTA San Andreas

 

 

Anywho... i picked GTA IV, because the graphics, story choices and story line.

Damn. Can't just pick one. I've liked them all from III onward. But if I were to get my "titties" (gotta love Roman) twisted. I'd say SA, for the mini pool, and the hustling that came with it. Kept me playing that game for a long time. R* makes some kickass games. sh*tty port(s) aside.

I personally like San Andreas but all of the other GTA's were great as well. I loved the amount of things you could do in SA and the RPG gameplay elements made it stand out from the past GTA's at the time.

I couldn't decide between IV and Vice City... but IV had amazing graphics and storyline. I still remember playing Vice City after III and being gob-smacked after seeing that you could go into buildings... man, those were the days.

San Andreas is better than the rest and GTA IV is the worst. Mabye The Lost and Damned can help it

Wow... I'm shocked that IV is in the lead considering how much people bitch about it, but awesome, as it's my favorite as well. Also shocked that the holy Vice City that everyone seems to love so much is in third. Couldn't really agree more though as I wasn't super fond of Vice City. It broke a lot of ground but I felt like the story and setting were a bit corny. I liked the story up until you kill Diaz... after that it got lame in my opinion until the last mission... selling drugs from an ice cream van and what not just felt like glorified side missions. Although Tommy was a better character than Vic, with that exception I felt like VCS did Vice City better, the story was more tied together. Vic's whole story of going from the military to working for hicks in a trailer park to climbing up the latter to deal with coke lords... all while people around him were effected by what he did (Louise and Vance with the coke)... was just better than Tommy running around doing odd jobs for various 80s caricatures with a very loose subplot involving the Forellis.

Love San Andreas, good story line, good graphics(even though crappy than IV). Best of all, SA has many terrain, from the poor city, small town, desert wasteland to big urban casino city.

Never played GTA 1 & 2.

GTA III was the great beginning.

GTA Vice City was amazing.

GTA San Andreas was simply brilliant.

 

But I have to say, GTA IV is in a whole different league... Just superb.

I was just simply washed over with brillance from playing GTA IV. I never knew the GTA series could evolve moderately and at a good place. To see my whole perspective changed since the times I first played GTA 2 and now. Formerly it would be GTA III and the rest all in a tie. IV completely made it an immediate favorite GTA game. We'll what will expand later on.

This was somewhat a hard decision since I've liked all the GTA's, ( III - IV ). GTA IV is by far very good and fun, but after re-watching San Andreas' introduction movie, I'm hooked back. San Andreas it is. (Not that I don't still like IV.)

I went with the original. Why? Well because GTA1 proved that you didn't need alot of fancy graphics and bells and whistles (i.e. airplanes, boats, parachutes, real estate, mini games, dating, fingerless gloves, etc.) to have fun.

 

You killed, you caused mayhem, you drove like a maniac, and you took sh*t from noone (i.e. cops, rival gangs) which is essentially what GTA is...and has always been about.

 

Plus the nostalgia factor is cool too.

My favourite GTA game is IV. Its the best, IMO. But, you forgot to add II to the options. Not that it really matters, though.

I really like the whole 80's, Miami Vice feel that Vice City has.

And i think it has the best music of all the games in the series.

 

But still, IV is the best game overall.

GTA: Vice City Stories gets my vote, but accidentally when I wanted to watch the votes, I clicked on "view results (null vote)" and now I can't vote.

 

San Andreas technically takes the spot, but VCS is a special game for me.

i pesonly loved vice city...the south americns tommy the Italian wise-guy and the 80's music...oh back in the good old days. I like all gta games for many different reasons. Like i love SA because of so much options and IV because of graphics...things like that you know...

GTA IV for life i just simply love Niko and his septic thoughts! I really like the complete setting and the density of the city... it actually feels like a city, much more than San Andreas, which i love too btw, but GTA IV really is one of a kind, legendary!

 

(damn, the combination black suit, red tie, beautiful glasses is great, with the fingerless gloves as an excellent extra thing, it really finishes Niko's look!)
