igloo
I was wondering if anyone made a whole new class of cars in any GTA, not just modded existing cars then made them different... DexX
No. The existing vehicle classes are pretty well suited to the games, and they are entirely hardcoded in the exe, which makes any changes very difficult, and adding a "new" class nigh on impossible. Did you have a particular type of vehicle in mind that you don't think the existing vehicle classes could handle? Whats your idea? igloo
I was wondering if it could be done... Is it honestly "impossible" though? DexX
Pretty much. But why do want or need a new class in the first place? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/389373-has-anyone-actually-made-a-new-vehicle-class/#findComment-1058834055 Share on other sites
igloo
I like modding cars but I didn't want to replace the originals. Thanks though Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/389373-has-anyone-actually-made-a-new-vehicle-class/#findComment-1058834069 Share on other sites
DexX
I like modding cars but I didn't want to replace the originals. Thanks though Wait, are you talking about defining a new class of vehicle, or simply adding a new vehicle mod to the game? These are two different things. If you just want to install say, a new car, it can be done, but its slightly difficult, and has some limitations, depending on the game. igloo
Sorry if I wasn't being clear -- here's what I mean. Let's say I'm playing Vice City. I make a new model, but instead of importing it and replacing a vehicle that already is in there, I want to take that model and place it in the game without it replacing anything, so maybe it could just spawn somewhere. igloo
Thanks a lot, DexX Oh and if you find one for VC and you see me around, can you show it to me, if it's not too much trouble?
