Even though I have no clue what they are singing about, it doesn't make my ears bleed so that's a good sign. Pretty good song overall. 8/10

People Like Us from True Stories directed by David Byrne (with John Goodman on vocals!)

7/10 it's alright, can't say i liked john goodman's voice

Randomly ran into this track while looking through alt r&b artists. they did a track called raincheck back in 2011 but this is my new favorite song by them

8/10 - Pretty good song which made me feel like I was in a dark room with people consuming the finest white powder through their nose before tongue kissing each other. I like her taste.

Great song in all aspects. However the chorus comes on a bit too often for my taste. Otherwise it is really good, very funky. 9/10

7/10 cool thrash song but the vocals sound too hair metallish for a track like this

7.5/10. Never really gave 70's Bowie much attention (his deeper cuts anyway), maybe I should start.

7/10, I had no idea there was an extended version of this song, but then again I'm not well up on their music enough to know. It's a good listen and has lots of room to breathe, very pretty instrumental and I love that spring metallic reverb that snaps from the snare, it's almost like a whip. That introduction is just begging to be chopped and screwed.

6/10 this sounds like one of those forgettable songs you hear in a pub

10/10 Sounds trippy and chill at the same time, I'm saving it to my list

This is one of my "Adrenaline is pumping through me" songs

It's a pretty good, didn't like how the "put him in a bag" part got louder and louder, it felt a bit out of place for me. 9/10

Great song from Mad Season. AIC and Mad Season are both one of my favourite 90's bands, mainly because of Layne Staley. 10/10

It's okay but I didn't like the part when he lowers his voice, I am generally not a fun of that. Otherwise it is good but it just somehow isn't my cup of tea and I can't tell why. 8/10

7/10 - Not bad. I didn't like the beginning but it became apparent that it was going to be more interesting than I expected.

6/10 - Reminded me for some reason of Destiny's Child. It's not horrible but not my cup of tea.

It is good and I can't really list any mistakes (maybe that it was a bit drawn out) but it felt a tad too generic. It just didn't feel distinguishable. Overall 7/10

Now here is some synthwave that I have never listened to as a genre but this one is kinda cool imo.

6/10 good song but synthwave is just a dead horse genre at this point

Pretty good song but I didn't quite like the melodic part from around 1:45 to 2:20. Otherwise amazing. 9/10

Fun fact: the first few lines was sung by Metallica at a concert in Budapest

9/10 too long for me to listen to right now but i always found the stuff that miles davis made during his later jazz fusion years really interesting, it kind of blurs the line between the early ambient music of brian eno and the jazz-funk style of lonnie liston smith, donald byrd and roy ayers.

that said my favorite track from this time is probably lonely fire off big fun.

speaking of ayers, here's a rarity from one of his backup singers

Very chill, perfect for winding down but I feel like it was too repetitive and a bit drawn out. The beat and the vocals were there tho. 7/10
