4/10, some classy but admittedly boring rock. Apparently they borrow more influence from Pink Floyd and other space influenced progressive rock bands than they do krautrock, which is a shame because I've always preferred the style of the latter. The major source of my enjoyment though was that video. It was like a PowerPoint presentation. I hope to the hills that this was the official music video because I'd love that to be a true representation of the band's work. Incidentally, I had never heard of ELOY prior to this, and apparently they're still recording and releasing albums.

7/10 - Nice! It reminded me of electronic pop from the early eighties.

Underrated group. Listened to their album of the same name, and it's tight. Almost feels like they have an orchestra behind them.

8.3/10.

That guy seems to know his way around a guitar.  That was fun.

Sounds a bit "tinny", still an earworm though.

6/10.

The 1st minute was 3/10, but then it really kicked into gear and raised its score to 9/10.  So, I'll split the difference.

9/10 - Very relaxing. I could listen to it while reading a book or kissing and hugging my sweet honey.

8/10, great track from one of my favourite hip hop albums of all time. I admit that by now I find their gimmick a bit tiresome, never giving up the Wu Tang secret, yadda yadda yadda. This is like a little time capsule for me. Some really crisp vocals and satisfying rhymes here, and all over Liquid Swords.

Stanley Clarke is one talented bass player among other such as Bootsy Collins (Parliament/Funkadelic) and Larry Graham (Sly & The Family Stone) just to name a few. Clarke was a close friend of the late George Duke and they colaborated a lot. I have a few of their records which actually belonged to my ex. We used to collect vinyl records which are mainly funk, disco, modern soul and post disco. She loved Clarke's music and when she left me for another she also left her vinyl records. They're worth keeping in my collection

8/10, great jam, you could set a metronome to that beat. This jam reminds me of one that Les Claypool, Buckethead and Bernie Worrell did as part of an outfit called (deep breath) Colonel Claypool's Bucket Of Bernie Brains. It isn't that they're similar, but they're clearly having such a good time. Music that sounds so good played loose with no clear structure is a gift, and it could really go anywhere. We've come full circle in a way too - Bernie Worrell was the keyboardist responsible for a lot of the soul found in P-funk groups.

8/10 - It's not the typical Jazz music one can expect but its well thought out and creative. Worth being played a few times. Weird fact, when this album was released in 1986, retailers decided to put a parental advisory stamp on it. The funny thing is that it's an instrumental album. But one of the tracks on the album is called G-Spot Tornado and that might have been the reason for that stamp. I remember watching a video on Youtube a few years ago about a speech Frank Zappa spoke to Congress on music censorship around that period of time. It was a very interesting video and worth watching.

6/10, a nice slice of the 1980s there. It's almost a pastiche, it ticks all of those boxes. Sultry look? Yes. Tuxedo? Those 808s? Aye. Those lyrics? Oh yes. I hadn't heard of Spence before, but this would slot nicely on Emotion 98.3 FM in between Fernando's misguided attempts to woo women. After some digging, I can't find a great deal of information about this other than it being previously unreleased. I have a soft spot for lost or otherwise unreleased music.

9/10 Love this track. Must get back in to some Skynyrd. This intro reminds me of Gimme Back My Bullets.

So, here's the guy that sings "Amos Moses" in San Andreas on K-Rose. He's excellent on guitar. This really surprised me.
