Jerking For Soup

7/10 its good but it just seems to drag on a little and become a little boring and repetitive.

8/10 it's not as polished as what he did with N.W.A but the flow is great.

8.5/10 - This kind of music always takes me back. Nostalgia's a beast!

The lyrics (which I really like), feels like they could've been written for a song today.

This is unabashedly cheesy and not a very good song, but I have a soft spot for late 90's pop. 7/10.

6/10 Not into so much in a modern rap music, but this song is good though.

5/10, I vividly remember the music video for this song which to me really makes the song what it is. It's a very sombre, powerful affair. It feels and looks a little dated now but I have no doubt he inspired many producers to go down the same path.

Just a little reminder for people - please post more than just the rating. Tell us a little about what you thought, even if it's just a sentence or two.

Femme Fatale

Nice, I really enjoyed the bongos. 9/10

6/10, I always maintain that George Harrison was the best Beatle. Unfortunately, aside from solid guitar work and a nice slide solo I didn't care for much else. I find the solo careers of each Beatle can be hit or miss... particularly Ringo. Poor lad.

5/10, never been the biggest fan of Queen, sad to say, though obviously Freddie Mercury has some of the finest vocal chops ever captured on tape. Curious then, that this is one of the only Queen songs to be released within his lifetime that he doesn't contribute vocals too. As for the song itself, it's a sombre affair but this is given a sweeter side thanks to May's signature playing which is clean, emotive and has a solo that is quintessentially Queen. One of the better songs I've heard from them, and dare I say it's nice to hear somebody else sing for a change.

8/10 While I appreciate the unique sound and funky sounds, the robot voice starts to lose it's novelty quick. It gradually starts to improve at the end and become more interesting. It could be some nice dance music, I can imagine this being used in some sort of retro 80s club with the synths used, and that is probably the vibe the artist was trying to pull off.
