Decent enough song, not a big fan of gangster stuff as it goes, but that is alright. The slightly plumper one reminds me a bit of Big Smoke in the way he dresses, moves and just his general mannerisms. So overall, I would give it a 7/10.

I am not a fan of that band, but I do like select tracks, 6/10

It took some time to grow on me, but I really have a favorite from the 1990s I believe it was.

Talk is so very, Un-Necessary, Words can only do harm. .... Just so great a song!

 

Here's rap and metal mixin it up, a slice of it anyway, Ice T and BodyCount don't get much attention, but they WAY deserve it.

1/10 - I don't know how I made it through. I didn't waste 20 minutes but I wasted nearly that much time demolishing my ears. I like decent rock instrumentation when it's not just like loud noise but this sh*t... I don't know if anyone can listen to it for more than a few minutes. Because it's just annoying and probably attempts to be that.

 

 

 

You can bash for all I care because I've never had a proper opinion on this group. When I'm listening the pathetic lyrics makes me laugh but when I'm not I snap out and call this stuff some of the worst music ever.

-5/10 I despise everything about 2 Live Crew; tasteless, talentless scum couldn't rap their way out of a paper bag. I honestly don't even know how they got signed, let alone how they managed to even garner a fan-base.

 

I also resent your rating and explanation there-of in regards to the song I posted. Why would you even click on a song that isn't within your musical realm, which clearly consists of Hip-Hop along with more Hip-Hop, which I can respect, but should also guide your posting habits in turn. Seems a bit odd to me, that's all.

 

Aesop Rock ~ Pigs

 

 

Aesop sounds a bit overly avant-garde for my tastes, but this is one of my favorites and the video that goes along with it makes it more than worth it.

 

EDIT: f*cking long ass posts always bite me in the ass, 7/10, it's nice, but I've never been a big Van Halen fan as it were.

That song is decent but not the type of hip hop I'd listen to on average basis. 7/10 - As to why I rated something that's obviously not for me. Well I hadn't posted in a long time and no one was in the thread when I came to visit it, so it just happened...

Meh, it was all right. I'm usually super into soul-influenced stuff, but it didn't seem quite "soulful" enough to grab me. Lyrics were cheesy too. 6/10

Foxy Shazam - A Dangerous Man

 

I'd like to point out that this isn't necessarily their greatest song, but it's the only one they have on Youtube. Watch the video as well, the vocalist and keyboardist are so f*cking energetic it's amazing. Not in just this video, either, on the live videos the vocalist gets up on the drums and does backflips and sh*t.
