I don't enjoy that stoner bullsh*t. 0/10

What the f*ck is wrong with you? Less Than Jake are a Ska Punk band from Florida. I dont understand where you're getting the information form that they are stoners. You seem to be generalising the band based on one or two things. One, the lead singer has dreadlocks, and two, they have a heavy Jamaican Ska influence (obviously). Now stop being a retard and rate a song based on the actual song, not what the band may do in their spare time.

Also, I wasn't saying that your song was meant to be Hardcore, I was stating a fact...the fact that Sick of it all are "proper Hardcore", which they are. That comment was just a cheap stab at these scene kids and "Brutal hardcore" kids.

Also, can I listen to this song thats supposed to be Boston HC? it aint available in my country. (If it sounds anything like "Metal core" then I can guarantee that they're not a Hardcore band.

ok..on topic, that song was boring, slow and repetetive. 3/10

Heres some proper Boston hardcore, Mein.

Slapshot The last laugh

Now I wish these scene kids and their *insert genre name*-core sh*t would f*ck off and stop calling their sh*t hardcore. This picture seems appropriate. CLICK.

You don't know what Boston Hardcore is, and you don't even know what a scene kid is if you think Death Before Dishonor is a bunch of scene kids trying to be Hardcore. You fail just end the discussion because any thing from this point on about the said topic is pointless and off topic to the real thread.

I love songs with a story you can actually follow, it makes it more interesting to listen to. 8/10

Keep with the ratings, DUDE!! You neglected mine. As for

Steve Miller, that song is one of his poorer tracks if you ask me. 5/10 though just the same.

Sorry, I went to open two windows and it wasn't YouTube, I merely got sidetracked, edit in a rating for this neat one!

I just stumbled on it with a search;

Sorry man, you WERE on, you could edit that rating with the cover to Van Halen, should put a smile back on your face! hahaha

Here's my choice for U2' best Joshua Tree song. Didn't even know there was a video.

After the many years, I'll rate yours' a 6/10, but it wasn't instantly accessible to my tastes, I think this album must be heard in it's entirety

Slamman's vid : Blargh! Horrible lyrics, the music just really, really bad, well not that bad but certainly I don't want to hear that for the rest of the day. The vocal is fine except like I said before the lyrics just horrible, nice chorus though. 5/10 for that.

@Mein: I don't want to give another pressure onto you, but if you mind please follow the flow of the topic, just rate the song ABOVE you, no need to quote Jake's vid and rate it. You just ignored Slamman's songs, you see? If this getting personal, kindly get your debates on PM. I'm not trying to be a Mod or anything, but this topic just getting messy with your debates.

Unless this is the rating for Slamman, then pardon my misunderstanding. tounge.gif

What, you no digg Red Hill Mining Town?? Well, I can see on the clip comments I'm not alone in liking it the most.

Well, I got some metal for right now, as for the Fixx, again, Stand or Fall is the favorite track, it's more of a story then verse, chorus, chorus... hell, still a damn fine chorus anyway, Great lyrics as well 6.5/10 for the chosen PCguytech track. I am familiar with it, but Stand or Fall to me is their best track I've heard

Lyrics for those having trouble with metal songs and vocals. Buy an album you often have lyric sheets as it is. Angel Rat is a rare treat from Voivod, highly melodic for the style of thrash they started producing and pioneering!

lyric :

there you are, you're with me

protecting all my crew

I carved you, from a tree

my vision is you

Lorelei, I have thee

in front of my ship

cutting waves, at full speed

savouring the trip

down the mirror of the waterline

leaning over underwater life

hidden treasures of the seven seas

I'm starboard to nowhere

on the milky way

howling wind, salty air

tearing at the sails

looking down the crow's nest

gliding in the sky

without sound, going west

boating on the fly

but some day

you'll go home

far away

on your own

dans la mer

you'll go down

go down where

you belong

.... thanks for the rate, check out more of these fine Canadians!

Ha ha, my post was intended for Slamman's video, its cool.

Hmm never heard of the band before, seems alright though. Its pretty late and I am not in the mood for the usual music I listen to so I give it about a 7.5-8/10.

Cool chill out song by one of my favorite bands.

Quite a long intro, I thought it would stay on a subdued track. I don't know if I really like it till I hear more of them, I think they have been posted in the past here, but I didn't pay too close attention. Not bad at all. 6.5/10 upon first listen.

I have another classic, however, from the 1990s!

Can't say as that I really like him much 3.5/10. Not terrible though, tolerable from my stand point. I'm pretty much dyed in the wool "rattlehead", I can't kick my fondness for rock and guitars, drums, bass

But you inspired me to post what I'd prefer in that "title"

Bee Gees DISCO classic!

8/10 for classics sake smile.gif.

Also; Less Than Jake ain't bad... but in my opinion the singer has an annoying (gay) voice. I prefer other Ska music anyday above LTJ.

Just for the great song + the awesome clip :].

5/10.

I didn't understand the singing parts, and the rapping bits didn't make up for that.

I don't recall a lot from seeing the film, I did see the sequal and such, To me Ice Cube is not very interesting, sometimes as an actor though. My boss thought he "stunk", All about the Benjamins" is one not to miss. I'll give him 4/10. I just am not a fan, he's pretty flat with the rap, even his acting could be "wooden" at times. He's done some good songs though, a lot better then Eminem

Ice T, now he the man!

Here's a band that's lacking, Y E S!!!!

Oh, and Guru, I love that Bon Jovi cut, Runaway, I give it 9.5/10 so you know

LTJ aren't a bunch of stoners nor do any of their lyrics reflect getting stoned. But, word up to team retard.

LTJ are my favourite band, always have been since I was a kid.

And for the dude who said that the singer from LTJ has a gay voice, they've got two lead singers, Roger and Chris. Roger is the guy who sings in that song, and Chris has more of a sorta..manlier voice. Incase you like that.
