Now I know there's mixed opinions here about Lamb of God, but give it a listen, it's amazing.

 

I love albums that open with a short instrumental such as this, it really adds some depth.

I really only knew of The Roots since the Jimmy Fallon late night show, he thinks they are the best band ever, I, however, do not. 4.5/10, as I'm not straight into them, but hearing more due to the exposure.

 

My pick is one I pulled out from my CDs as of late, Bad Company fronted by Brian Howe on vox.

Killers video, My comment is thus; I grew up in an age of concept videos, the early MTV years, and this is what I bought cable for, so I appreciate that the music takes on new light with the visual medium, but on the musical side, it's still lacking for me, and the vocals start out like Freddie era Queen, but deviate from that, and I thought it was nice to have a Queen vibe without Mr. Mercury around these days. Voting 6.5/10 on that song. The vid reminds me of the black and white Sexploitation pictures, the guy who directed Faster Pussycat, Die, Die, IIRC, forget his name.

 

Creed -Overcome? Prefer a classic single, almost by default, at least it rocks, I'll give it 7/10 as well because I never hated Creed, a bit indifferent about them, but they perform metal/rock/pop, somewhere in the mix, with clean vocals, People or listeners get really vocal about the vocals often times more then the music, and I don't care about lyrics at all when the music is good, you rarely have insight to the lyrical approach of things

 

 

Hope I don't regret this, but you guys don't know? I already got banned for not rating and posting properly here, and that means EVERYONE has to follow the convention setup in the first post. Not everyone prefers some reasoning to the vote or selection, but I feel strongly in favor of it, so I will be commenting shortly, I have to post a song in here, then rate the last two, which I was trying to say, I can't do all at one time, with dialup Internet.
