I'd give it a solid 6.5/10 solely on the intro being rather well done. And i'll admit while I do like the genre for a little mix up here and there I honestly have no idea what the majority of them are on about with their lyrics. colgate.gif

although i'm slightly unnerved by the focus visually on lil wayne versus the main artist here

I was actually sidetracked while looking up Journey for the earlier post, this Acer laptop project from Hell I'm still working on. While Copperwire, I can tell our tastes clash, I wonder about Daft Punk since they've been on this thread more then once, what do you like about them? I'd like people to give some insight on their selection, as I offer up, one of the neat things as well was the video with some info on the audio section as well, if not a promo clip outright.

Here's Nugent again with The Amboy Dukes this time, the 1960s, and pioneering a sound unlike any other, I think this was 1966, if not mistaken, same year I popped out.

I'll vote on the Daft Punk when I get that loaded (I lost Wifi connect so I am solely on dialup ISP right now.) Ok, finished loading that, I like the music aspect the most, the lyrics the worst, the vocal effects, Iffy, not too bad, not bothersome to me, Different for sure 5.5 or 6/10, nice guitar and some arrangement changes in there

Dark Funeral have never been my farvorite choice when it comes to black metal, so it's a 5/10.

Soooo much better then the recorded version!

Hmm, well i'm not a big fan of melo music, but it's nice to listen to once in a while. The video fit pretty well, too. 7/10.

This is pwnsome...

Have i just came up with a new annoying internet phrase?

4/10 I'm no hip hop fan and i think it's crap. Don't take it personal.

I'm a huge Black Sabbath Fan and so i'll want to post another favourite song from me. Enjoy.

.....

yeah, you coaxed a comment from a VH fan, I only disliked them because everyone in Jr. High school went ga-ga over them, then on a trip to Chicago, the band were in studio at The Loop, I believe, and I was floored, been a major fan since. They are above average dude!!!

I'll add something to the comment, hold up.... EDITING....

I tried that song all the way, just ain't working, I'll take SLAYER instead, man! YEAH! Then we're talking some music. Sound like he's singing Skynyrd the whole way thru.

Now, with black artists, this guy with THIS song in particular, awesome all the time...

Very nice song Slamman, very melodic.....I love that clean jazz guitar sound. I give it an 8.0/10. Well, in honor of my favorite holiday, Halloween, I have a double header: "Ghouls Night Out" and "Halloween" by the Misfits.

10000/10 The Misfits are awesome, I watched a band called Street Dogs last night who did a cover of Halloween, it was decent. Oh, and thanks for posting proper Misfits.

....I knew that wasn't a Pro-War song, but it is an upbeat message. I hate war and hating on all living things, animal cruelty, or people shouting, hitting, stealing, or any wrong doing. You should find war morally repungnant. It still is over all feeling sappy, Power Pop Blink 182 style. Not my cup of tea, Greenday could take the same song and maybe add a more serious vibe to it, I am just speculating, so 5.5/10 rating

My song I don't have cued up, of course, dial up a factor, But I'd been trying to think of it for some time, it' Saigon Kick's Love is on the Way, for a while heading up the video countdown on MTV's Headbangers Ball, and while not a "banging song" I can concur it deserved to get that position!

I'm favoriting a lot of the videos I post, in my YT channel, they amount to my YT playlist, though limited in scope.

Had some issues seeing my page reload, Since I was looking, thought to include Kings X's power rocker It's Love. Classic harmonies here!

Forgotten track too. I post this one as well because the audio was stipped of the music video version, so this one you can actually hear, for the moment.

Enjoy, ..... PEACE!

Okay done listening, I can only rate for the first song though, since the quality in the second vid is bad due to it's homemade recording. For Saigon Kick's song I rate it 7/10. Nice acoustic and musical, it is really peace and entertaining, the vocalist got good pitching and his voice just suitable for the song. Nice lyrics, however it's too repetitive, still, I love the chorus. This is another good old song I love to listen. Nice find Slamman!

Coldplay - Talk

This is one of my favourite songs by Coldplay, slow but really lovable with the vocals, nice music and lyrics.

Are you kidding me? I actually laughed at this comment. They sound nothing like Blink 182 or pop punk asa whole for that matter. They're a street punk band with celtic roots (One of their members is an ex Dropkick Murphy), but I must agree, that was one of their 'softer' songs. Listen to this instead: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNxW62pXZQU

Dont like Coldplay, they're just another over rated, depressing band. 2/10

6/10, they've never been my favorite kind of band,

but I do appreciate what they ended up influencing.

Chilis, popular song, I like the intro, then it gets tedious toward the end, Under the Bridge, Downtown...is where I drew some blood. Anthony is singing about his personal bought with Heroin.

My tune is a timeless MODERN classic, if you can't hear it, you're officially DEAF!!!

8/10 classic!

Here, I love this song [not just because of Vice City]

Kinda Ironic that it was the first Music Video On MTV (back when MTV stood for Music TeleVision)

sorry that embedding is disabled, but you should see the vid anyways

Video Killed the Radio Star: 8.5/10

This song gets an extra .5 for the quick bridge. With the simple mute strumming, and the "aaahh the radio stararar" part!

Here's a good one:

8/10, It's a pretty sweet beat, I like it when the beat kicks in, I'm more into Hip-hop and faster music myself. But still random and cool.

My friend showed me this song, I think it's damn awesome.

At least listen 'til the piano sorta noise kicks in.
