6/10. It wasn't bad, I just didn't think it was all that good either. Of course it may just be too aggressive for me right now since I'm in the process of waking up.

 

 

Just a little bit of background information about the song, this is Pretty Visitors by the Arctic Monkeys, and will appear on their third studio album Humbug. I say "will appear", the album's not out yet (or at least I don't think it is) but either way, this is my favourite track from the album.

Actually, I believe it's been out for some time now as I've seen it in several stores in the past few weeks.

I did listen to it but if I don't like the genre I'll give it 1/10 automatically like others did to mine. Why should I give a fair mark when others automatically rate my stuff 1/10 because they don't like it.

Because I lacked a video, here's VINTAGE rap/hip hop. I saw this movie before I knew the song, and me likes both!

 

 

Acid Bath, I am really not liking the song writing or singing style except when it verges on Cradle of Filth, but it ends prematurely as anyone reading the comments can attest to, also a debate over the lyrical meaning, although there often isn't even an implied lyrical stance among band and listeners, however, take the case of VoiVod, it is a well defined concept of the futuristic VoiVod creature who was born of the drummer's actual nightmares, and I think that's very inspired, as each album had given way to more story based upon that one concept. So for a score, 4.5/10, typical of when there's something that I feel lacking that would make it much better, the guitar tone is excellent however

Re: the Silence of the Lambs, I saw the movie a long time ago, was not concentrating on the music really, however, having the song in GTA4, made me look up the oddity behind it. That chick who's singing the original track, she never made a career of it, Kinda vanished I guess.

 

More specifically, that parody of the scene in place of the GTA4 song which when I heard, I wasn't even associating it to the movie, it was Kayla who mentioned the film when I noticed. For the Greenskeepers, didn't they appear in GTA? I noted some odd bands I can't recall from the licensed tracks. While amusing, the tone of it is perhaps too serious. I like The Odds as an example with HeteroSexual, not really a parody of anything but as a funny song over all, and a good tune

 

3.5 of 10. It's just not too amusing but a good effort for matching the words and video from the clips

What is it with Kotzen fever, It's funny, I get tons of hate comments on Bret Michaels playing with Skynyrd (on YT channel), I don't mind him at all. There are worse HAIR bands then Poison! I give it a 7.5 of 10, rock always sits well with me.

Anyway, I wanted to post the Janis Joplin cover from Standing Hampton, it's got great guitar tone to it! I haven't seen it posted yet.

I'll have to get back on Stone Roses, the 56K is seriously impacting the vid flow!...and audio.

Can say I've heard OF them rather then heard them from what I remember...

I do recall that song, got a chance to hear it proper now. I can't recall if it was on the nuROCK station here or elsewhere, but it's highly catchy, but a bit too modern cookie cutter rock, which now people complain is the old stuff as well, but it's hard to not notice there's some sterile acts out there. Either way, I think this one is above average, and I'll give it 7.5/10, it would be perfect in a GTA game.
