7/10 although i dont know what the heck is Saint Pepsi or why the video loops like that. It was goofy.

 

Her demos sound better than her actual albums, i guess because she tends to sing too formally on them. This song is full of small errors (even spelling), but its so full of feel that you dont even notice.

 

 

(also apparently that song appeared in a Walking Dead episode, so there you go, its no hipster music anymore XD)

Started really well but then I couldnt understand what she was saying and dare I say her voice became grating. Also the guitar riff was quite repetitive after 3 mins.

 

This is a classic. Very moving.

I dont know what to think about rap, its not the lyrics or the voices, its the fact that the background music always repeats over and over and it has no uplifting moments.... 6/10 because it started beautifully and then repeated that part to death.

I honestly love The Roots, some of the few rap band/artists that I enjoyed listening to. 8/10

 

 

Now this track is mostly associated with He-Man. I think few knew that this track was sung by 4 Non Blondes.

That was Devo . They sounded way more Punk in their earlier stuff I guess, all the songs of theirs that I've heard were all New Wave stuff. I liked their punk sounding stuff way more. 9/10

 

Also, Hum's been considered one of the most underrated bands of the 90's, so you probably never heard of them because they were pretty overlooked tbh. The Stars song I posted was their closest thing to a big hit unfortunately.
