Sounds typical for the genre and time, a few years back, up to 1980s period, though I'm not as well versed in things like The Cure or The Smiths, I was a die hard rocker by then.

I'd say 6.5/10 for added piano touch.

 

For those not in the know, Black Flag was where Henry Rollins got his musical start, he's still around, but gave up music for spoken word.

7.8/10, i like the part at 3:00, and putting the solo in the end was a good decision (better than putting it just behind a fading chorus like most metal songs do).. Also Eagle Eye nebula at 5:00

Ministry have an interesting history, even if NWO is not to your liking, check them out along with Butthole Surfers. I feel the two are closely related.

Slightly better then average pop. I have been just listening to TV music programming like Storytellers with Kings of Leon, and I didn't find it eclipsing music deemed great from the past. That's my issue with modern music or even popular artists, their music doesn't stand out as particularily better. Even U2 and Genesis have songs that don't have the same stature as their greatest hits, but I also hate to use the word Greatest Hits to define someone's best work.

The louder song segments were distorted, lower score when it comes to audio quality like that! hahaha

This is an actual curiosity, though. It sounds like some sort of alternative/indie rock, and some of the vocals have a bit of screamo in them. 7/10

There are alot of nice American rappers out there esp. those of the classic East and West Coast scenes. They make pretty good stuff. And Kid Cudi? He isn't a better rapper indeed like the rest.

 

As for your track, well I've known Steve Harley aside from being the frontman of Cockney Rebel. Easy to say, though not my favourite track of the band it still sounds good. Makes me think of the same track done by Chicago as well, which I'll be posting. 8/10.

 

BTW, I thought you also don't like rock music? Steve Harley is rock!
