I don't have anything retro to counter that, at the moment, but one thing I like overall in music, is if it tries to be interesting, repetition can only hurt in that department.

I'd say, Not really my cup of tea. Giving my new laptop subwoofer a workout though. 4.5/10 It's actually clipping my sub, as small as it is! haha

Let's ratchet down slightly with acoustic Electra Mustaine, Dave's actual daughter. Extra bonus is the full interview clip.

4/10 and 3/10. Not my style ^^

Neither is this one:

But it seems to be very popular

I believe it's already been posted, Deja Vu feeling again.... If it's not your style, try and explain your feelings in the moment of previewing it, and expound on why, otherwise, the post is more a waste of time.

I think it's got melody, and that's a good place to start. 6/10

Nice, fast pace for metal

Going with this song again so I can get the studio version with lyrics, rare slideshow includes Mick Jagger's wife in the early 70s, Bianca Jagger!

BTW, above, Bob Seger is NOT a Country musician, you would be aware of this living in the States, where perhaps Country is the most popular form of music in the past few years. The New Country starting with Garth Brooks and Shania Twain in the early 1990s

8/10 Slow but good, it has a really nice melody.

No need to quote anything posted directly above you, unless the page number changes. Anywho, it's VERY well known here in the States, but never was a favorite 80s classic of mine. Over the years it seems to have grown more respectable I think, but still, gonna half to halve it. (I don't know if I even got that play on words right, oh well)

5/10

Middle of the Road 80s genre, and I don't even know if that's a real genre of music, but here's some more from the period...though it took root in the 1970s! haha

Love Bowie ever since I was young, so it's not actually a doubt that I love one of his songs. Neither I would ignore his presence. 9/10.

Not for me, thanks. I used to do a mocking cover of it myself, because I do subscribe to the message, the self-importance (snobbery) of people with good looks, they get the best out of life, if you're ugly, or imperfect, life just seems that much harder, so I think there's an anthem for the Non-Beautiful Ppl

5.5/10

I think it became OK with me over the years, but I don't think I have any favorite MM songs.

More comic music ... in tradition of Tap...

Starship Trooper and Roundabout trump it, among other YES classics, but I'd say definite 9/10

Listen to this whole operatic metal lost gem, it will pay off for ya!

Female metal lead vocalist is not too common, going back to this time, for sure!

9/10 the intro is great, it made me expect a fast power metal, but i was greeted with slow paced heavy metal almost like doom... The fact that it is recorded from an LP just makes the whole thing perfect :D

Following the female vocalist idea, i present you Mercyside (its a shame Vibeke Stene left the band):

And if death metal isnt your thing, then have a pop:

The first song was pretty cool. I might check out that band some time. 9.5/10

The second song was quite annoying (dumb lyrics) and I am not going to bother to rate it.

Edit: I see Eminem! posted before I did. While I think Justin is talented I don't think I like any of his songs. That one is probably one of his worst songs in terms of lyrics. I'll give it a 7.5/10 since it's actually listenable.

Never was a fan of CKY but I've always liked that song somewhat due to Jackass/THPS3.

Pitch Shifter I remember was a very heavy Grindcore Industrial metal band from the 1990s if not earlier, they are a pale shadow of their former self, I bought one of their albums.

I'm trying to think of the other band that's like that, much better though. Ah, Godflesh! Yeah!

5/10

Just rather boring, assuming they changed away from the heavy metal genre some.

Very rare vid, low quality, but shows Joe Walsh covering Rosewood Bitters with the man who wrote the song, Michael Stanley (Band)

Classic pop. Not that I like the song, I'm actually attracted to the groove it gets. And, if my memory serves me right, its featured on GTA Vice City or is it Laura's other track. 8/10.

Been waiting for this point wherein I would post the long-lost guitars version of Don't Stop Me Now as I've mentioned in my previous post wayback some pages. Enjoy Classic Queen! :)

Some of Queen was really good, some of Queen was really bad. This is about middle of the road, so 5/10

It takes quite sometime to listen in some synthpop duo anyday, but I know it's a classic, I have to consider that. For now I guess 7/10 wouldn't be bad.

Any technical/symphonic death metal? Would love to hear any feedback.
