Haven't heard any of Celtic Frost's tracks but I've been looking up to the band just recently. Kinda like those instrumentals instead rather than the vocals but some of their styles incorporate a number of extreme metal genres so they're pretty decent. 8/10.

E: Oops didn't see that coming. Well OLP's first classics are actually golden esp. Raine Maida's sick vocals. Though you could say this is actually better but nowhere near to his two previous albums. 8/10

Oh lord. It's that odd mix of metal and acoustic folk. I think it's a metal band, at least. They look the part. But yeah, it's not quite my cup of tea. 3/10

Anywho, I like the old Young... so to speak

Missed the last one, OAR has been one of the artists appearing on Marc Cuban's AXS network (formerly HD Net on cable) I'm not too experienced with their music, sounds good audio wise, but not something that stands out too much

8/10

I'll do you one better, though.

Too fast to keep up with new additions at present, but the Queen was partly inspired by the film which just finished another play on cable, Highlander, one of the best films ever made.

I'm not familiar with that Neil Young, but it's in the same vibe that is uniquely his.

9/10

Just one of the best TV intro songs ever....

Aren't they just a wee bit TOO trendy?? For instrumental metalists. Or more accurately, Musician's musicians. Technical players like Dream Theater. In the genre defined by Prog Rock, branching into Progressive Metal.

8.5/10

I don't know all their stuff to pick a best of track

Archnight, not sure what you mean by theme, it's classical influenced Randy Rhoads, who was a legend in his short life of fame as guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne.

Metal, Metal, Metal, as the also late Earl Root used to say....

8/10

Good stuff
