Sure as hell is relaxing, however if I want to relax I'd rather listen to a Bob Marley song^^ Jazz is cool though so I'll give it a 5,5/10

Edit: me and 4thoseabout2rock posted about the same time, I'll rate his song 6/10 cus its pretty catchy and happy but nothing too special ya kno! I think the chorus doesnt fit with the rest of the song :S anyway.. OK song!

Here's a punk/reggae/ska song that I really like biggrin.gif

Meh, the CLASH I always disliked because they were too soft, not really punk. I mean, the Ramones I much prefer!!

Here's somethin' soft for ya! One of the best videos for MTV ever made. I love comic vid and great rock tunez!

The Clash are awesome, same with the Ramones, you cant really say they arent Punk, listen to their first album, its brilliant.

You inspired me to submit one of your favorites that we both love. ACTION TALKS!!

Oh, Jason Mzar is not the kind of music I really get into, I like the overdubbed closing vocals, but in terms of guitar and vocals, for me, it'd be Neil Young "Needle and the Damage Done" or Bob Marley "Redemption Song", something along those lines. I really like Don Henley, obviously, and I'd even say John Couger singing something with just acoustic.

Proxy Flooder, for me, one Clash song seems to hold up, that's "Should I stay or Should I go?"

That one was always good since I first heard it. They don't appear to have another song like that though.

Yeah, having enough talent to play more than three power chords over and over again is so horrible. whatsthat.gif

But the song above me was pretty good, I'll say 7/10.

I don't care, I like it.

The aesthetic of punk is akin to garage rock, so three power chords was something of what Green Day style can be said to be as well. I'm just saying the Clash seem to sing everything off key. At least some power chord bands have heavy stuff that is not off key musically... The Gaslight Anthem sounds off key as well, Musically, they seem Adult Contempt... VH1 worthy. Maybe 120 Minutes on the old MTV show. I got one for you I like better though... The Plimsouls with Peter Case!!

Eh, 'punk' is such a restricting genre. I think of it as more of an attitude than just a style of music. Still, even by those standards the Clash's self-titled debut fits the 'punk' mold. But that doesn't matter, what does is that the Clash put out waaayyy better tunes than other mainstream competitors (Ramones, New York Dolls, Pistols, etc.). Their music makes sense, that's why they're the only band that matters. But I can somewhat agree on Gaslight, their sound is very polished and melodic, wouldn't be surprised to see it on vh1 at night or something similar.

Fun band to listen to, the energy is great.

If you couldn't get it to work, Check out Universal Music's channel on YT and the group The Plimsouls' Million Miles Away promo. At the time of release, REM's Radio Free Europe was also released, both singles were new as I recall, and the Plimsouls were better I felt.

Very 80s pop one could say.

The Clash just never had anything really heavy, it's like the one song from the Southern Death Cult, AKA The Cult;

Love Removal Machine.

I love that track, but it's about the extent of what I've liked that I've heard. Diff strokes for different folks, and all that.

Speaking of John Mayor... I love his appearence on Dave Chappells show but hav absolute disdain for "Your body's a Wonderland".... UGH!

Vanilla Shake

7/10. I quite liked it.

Unfortunately this is not the full version of this song:

The guitar kicking it at 3:55 is so hauntingly mesmerizing. Sends chills down my spine each and every time I hear this song.

7/10 sounds a bit like pink floyd sounding a little slow for me but a good tune no doubt.

Nobody listens to Too $hort or 2 Live Crew anymore? I thought those guys pushed the envelope.

White Chapel is not a band I know of but they play melodic DeathMetal, correct? Sounds akin to some other band I can't place. I would wonder if they are Christian? I heard a classic 80s interview snippet with the band Trouble and Erik Wagner, he said they are Christian in the sense that they believe in God.

I was really craving this classic REO Speedwagon song, so Nabo45, check this number! Gary Richrath wrote most of the 1st two album material and the video updates the message!

Quote someone doing the BB embedding correctly to see how to do it, which requires highlighting the alpha numeric code after "v=" and cut and pasting it between BB code

Well that's the point of this topic is to rate the song. Not just mindless spam. So, if you're not going to rate, don't post.

I will continue to post as I've not gotten a Mod after me about it. Thing is a rating alone is unacceptible here as well, in case you didn't know. I skip over ratings because they seem harsh to me anyway. My reviews are honest opinion.

I prefer a explanation over arbitrary rating any day of the week.

Your song/video, BTW; 0/5

10/10. I would have given it a 10 yesterday, and I would give it a 10 tomorrow. Beat It is my favorite Jackson song. The genius, the talent of MJ, and Eddie Van Halen with the guitar. Sheer brilliance.

As great as Tesla are, I never really liked any of the songs on Bust a Nut other than Action Talks & a few others. It all seemed so.. un-80's ish, compared to their earlier albums. I didn't like Psycotic Supper much either, they both sound like they're lacking Tommy Skeoch.

I mean, I know that he was still in the band there, and only left before the Bust a Nut tour. But still, it sounds like they were 'holding him back', so to speak. Just like on their new album too, it really lacks the Skeoch vibe.

*sigh* Tesla is just not the same anymore sad.gif.

OT: Totally diggin this tune, I've always been a fan of Thin Lizzy. Though, they've made better songs.

7/10.
