3/10 - Don't really like that style of music nor that song, sorry.

The Clash - Rock the Casbah

I'm no stranger to The Clash, nor am I to Rock the Casbah. I have to admit, it is definitely a foot-tapper and has a tendency to stick with you for the rest of the day (not that I'm complaining). Just a very fun and catchy song to listen to. 7.5 out of 10.0. icon14.gif

I feel as if I have somewhat neglected Chicago for the longest time, so to make up for it, I've been listening to

, amongst others, all week.

It took me a while to get into that one, but I got there eventually. Quite a decent song, I like the sort of rock and roll feel with a bit of funk mixed into it. I'm not a huge Chicago fan, but I can easily see why people like them. Overall, pretty good song. I'll give it 8/10.

Now for something at the other end of the scale. I stumbled across this last night whilst doing my usual I'm-stoned-so-I'm-just-going-to-click-everything routine on YouTube. Never have I been so glad that I do this. It definitely pays off. Anyway, enjoy.

6.5 out of 10 and I hate to do that. The guy has some serious guitar skills but his voice was killing me.

In honor of Lou Reed's liver transplant.

Didn't know about Lou's liver transplant, hope he does well. That's always been a great tune. 9/10!

7/10. I kind of liked that. The brass instrumentation sounds really cool.

Anyway, while we're on the topic of Lou Reed:

Not sure if bad sound quality or weird mixing\mastering. Some parts messed with my ears, but the song is great. I loved it. 9.5/10

For me, that sounded like an '80s arcade game's theme song on one continuous loop. All of the synthesized basses and drums seemed to repeat constantly for eight minutes. Definitely not my style of music. 3.0 out of 10.0.

from Dookie (1994). Not much for me to say other than two great songs that blend together, along with an awesome guitar ending to Chump and a killer bass intro to Longview.

I was into Green Day a while back, I like a couple of their songs, but I've never heard this one before though. It was alright. 6.5/10

7/10. Good verses from Royce and then annoying shouty ones from Eminem, like everything he's made since 2010.

Has found this recently.

I haven't seen that film in years, completely forgot how awesome Tim Curry was. Anyway, I loved the song. It was amusing but still bloody good. It just fit so damn well. 8/10.

And now for something radically different; poetry.

^ The video posted has been made unavailable in my country, apparently, so I searched it on YouTube and

is the closest video I could find, in terms of the title name. Hopefully it is fairly similar to what you have initially posted. confused.gif Anyway, George the Poet made a stronger delivery in his performance and his voice, along with the piano in the back, comfortably suited his well-defined lyrics. 7.0 out of 10.0.

Derived from an early poem of Morrison's, entitled Stoned Immaculate, is The Doors' The WASP (Texas Radio and the Big Beat) (1971). Excellent instrumental segments, alongside impeccable lyrics.

Lots of memories attached to that for me. I may be a bit biased with my 9/10. "You can pick your teeth with a NY joint".

Originally I was going to do Prof. Longhair doing 'Big Chief', but then I realized people might like a version with the lyrics. Totally surprised to see these guys ended up on YT(thought I was gonna have to rip mine).

That song reminded me of the times I used to listen to the radio for some reason (good times). I don't think I've heard that song before but I like it. 9.5/10

God damn, I hate YouTube for this kind of crap. Cheers for finding it and rating it anyway, man icon14.gif

Back on track. I loved that song. Incredibly chilled out with an odd, almost dark setting to it. Rather oddly, the intro and some other various bits brought to mind "The Ecstasy Of Gold" by Ennio Morricone. Anyway, I'll give it 8/10.

My choice is the gorgeous Christina Perri.

You have a pretty narrow and particular taste in music. I wouldn't expect you to like much out of your comfort zone. biggrin.giftounge.gif

Skid Row, never listened to them although I used to get mixed up between the two different Skid Rows. One is a Skid Row from my country that Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy) fronted. Sounded nice though. 7.5/10 icon14.gif

Anyway, enjoy the beat in this..

Love that track after I finally found it, as it's used on quite a few promo's on the BBC. 8/10

Hardcore Wrestling fans will recognise this track by Mark Crozer and the Rels (Mark formerly of The Jesus and Mary Chain)

With me and Genesis (in addition to Phil Collins), so many of their biggest hits have been overplayed throughout my life to the point where I cannot even listen to them (and him) for too long. With that said, I've probably heard Mama roughly one thousand times playing GTA IV, that this song as definitely lost its value for me. 7.0 out of 10.0.

(1968) by The Lemon Pipers. Just a funky, cool little song. cool.gif

I will let you slide this time and this time only because you don't know what you're talking about, you were probably drunk while writing that. I listen to a lot of rap in particular and I also listen to as much of different genres of music as I can, not just the ''regular kind'', but also pretty much foreign music aswell, so.. Yeah, so much about your comment. Also, music is subjective and it's based entirely on opinions, so bashing me because I rated some low ass song/music video with a 2 is pretty childish. Not everything is as it seems, don't make assumptions you are not 100% sure that won't make a fool out of you. wink.gif

As for the Joker, 9/10. Can't get old and can't get bad smile.gif

This is a short version, but doesn't matter wink.gif

10/10. I have so many good memories attached to that song that it's impossible to rate it any lower. Just a brilliantly badass song.

Here's one dude I've started obsessing over. F*cking phenomenal musician.
