8/10. I see your Revolution and raise you with Catfish John. tounge.gif

Lucky me has seen Toots a bunch of times. And when I saw him do Catfish John he gave a nice shout out to Jerry.

Quick note: There really is no need to quote the song you're rating, folks. We know it's the one above you. Also, let's go for more than just a set of numbers as a rating, tell us why you did/didn't enjoy it. If I post a song and someone gives it a low score, I want to know why and I'm sure others feel the same.

Anyway, I'll give the above song 6/10. I was pretty decent but it felt as though it needed some sort of boost, if you will. Nevertheless, it had quite a nice flow to it that kept it tight and I really appreciate that in a song.

For my choice, I'm going to go with a cheesy ballad from Mr. Collins.

^8/10. Sounded - once again - Like a tune out of Vice City, that's the sort of sound it gave off. It's a good song I thought, The tune is nice and simple, I really liked the Cymbal tapping at the end, and the addition of the "Ohhhh" vocals in unison with all the other stuff, and the singer has a nice soft voice I guess. I had mixed feelings about the guitar playing throughout the song though.

Anyway, here's something different haha, it's a combo of bird whistling among other things, I've heard it on the radio a couple times, it's a fun enough song.

Turn your stereo up really loud for this one, you'll enjoy it more, it's not as good with the bass.

Oh boy... how do I put this?... I hate Dubstep with all my heart, more than Bieber...

I will say it wasn't The worst I've ever heard. In fact it was one of the better ones. I'll be generous and say 5/10

I really love the instrumental of this song by Maroon 5.

I hear this frequently while flipping through radio stations in my car. Not my cup of tea at all; I'll give the instrumental (the piano to be more precise) some credit, but the vocals kind of bother me. 5.0 out of 10.0.

by one of my favorite bands, Chicago. icon14.gif

Really strange vocals and instrumentals. It was... strange. But in a good way: 7/10.

Sorta reminds me of Beck "Loser" a little bit, not quite as good though. Strange song indeed. 6.5/10

Jefferson Airplane "Comin' back to me" from 1967. A slower song, but I think it's beautiful.

9/10 - Absolutely loved that piece. You've always posted great music in here and that really topped it off. Awesome sounding music, could listen to that all day.

Everything about that song screams "I'm truly awful, please end me", but for some reason there's a great novelty in it and one can't help but keep listening. Still, I love the oddity of it all so I'll give it 6/10.

Inspired by the 80's thread, I started listening to Duran Duran's "Hits" album and felt bad that I'd completely forgotten about this incredible song. A masterpiece of pop music.

7.5/10 - Not my favourite song by Duran Duran, but definitely deserves a respectable score. It actually brings back a few memories of ~2006 when my mum listened to a fair bit of them.

Up until today I thought the following song was by Creed, and apparently (I know thanks to YouTube comments) thousands of people have thought the song was by Creed, Tool or Alice in Chains. Seems to be thanks to majority of the Limewire downloads for it back in the day (where we would have gotten it from) labeled it as their song.

It sounded like just about every other rap to come out by Kanye, but I'll admit, he didn't skip a beat and I can respect that. I'll give it 6.5/10
