6/10. I am going to face tremendous backlash from more devout fans of Pink Floyd, but Dark Side Of The Moon never grabbed me as it has other people. I quite like Pink Floyd, but I have to be absolutely in the mood for them. As it happens, I find Time and Us & Them to be the best songs from DSOTM. I also like the length - at just over 40 minutes it doesn't drag on like one would expect it to. That said, I do prefer the longer album Animals, and I'm glad to have heard that first. Don't get me wrong, it's an important stepping stone but I can't share the praise others give it.

I tell you what I did. Oh 7/10 by the way. I mean to me it's nothing special but when your high, everything is much better haha That song therefore blew my mind. But If I was not under the influence of drugs then I'd rate it a 6/10.

John's version is more amped up, so as more of an acoustic rendition, that selection has as much merit, but John IS THE VOICE! haha

 

 

 

I'm no avid watcher of American Idol, but for comparison sake;

 

Simon Sez?! I don't agree, here's an even better rendition he did in the studio;

Not very impressive, not at all. I'd give it maybe a 4/10, and that's being generous. It's just not interesting or original, strange as that may sound. And the parts like 2:40 just made me laugh. It sounds like they were trying to sound badass but couldn't quite pull it off.

@The King, Starship gets a lot of critical review nowadays, I give you thumbs up for liking them despite the fickle public, of course, I take an interest in their varied eras, I also feel Starship had a good chemistry for hit songs, performance and crafting, a bit more then the previous incarnations, without saying they are of lesser degree

 

As for my posts, yeah, I posted a lot of music because I live for music, gaming not as much, I can't imagine a world without tunez (ok, back to rating)
