6.5 out of 10.0 for each. There is nothing for me really to say about Jefferson Starship.

Here is the only Jefferson Starship song that I think is "halfway decent".

No offense and please don't take this personal but .1/10 - that song was an amazing letdown to an entire generation, I think.

Even one of my favorite bands had issues with crossing over into the 80s.

Here is the original one I was used to before they redid it in the 80s - way different.

Hold on, Wait there, Trip, I really don't think it's anywhere NEAR that bad, Steeleye Span I've not really heard, but weren't they on Chrysalis Records??

7.5/10 I'm not really used to their sound, having somehow missed them all these years

I don't have a song, but I had to comment on the Starship, Built This City is a fun, not so serious dity, I think the band have always had a bit of humor I tend to like about them.

I'd rate BTC an 8/10

I like this latter-day hit from Starship, 80s era

5.0 out of 10.0. Slamman, we can go all month long with these Jefferson Starship songs, but my rating will still stay at about 5.0. biggrin.gif

I have not heard this for a while. Before you hit play, I warn you, this song is an effin' masterpiece.

None taken, man. I know that song blows. I was joking when I said that song was halfway decent. With that said, I did not expect it to receive a 0.1 rating. I was expecting more along the lines of a 3.0 or a 4.0, but life is full of surprises.

Great jam from one of the bands paving the path of a lot of great classic rock. 9/10

Now for one of my hidden favorite bands, some blues-driven sludge metal:

I won't feel either song is a poor tune, With regards to Jefferson Starship and the Mickey Thomas era, he's still out there playing, so the fans are enjoying it

I was gonna post some Craig Chicquico solo acoustic stuff he did not long ago, his own New Age album in a way

But I figured to check on Don Henley and found one of the better New Eagles tracks since the 1995 reunion came about

As for Down, How are they hidden? It's Pantera's Phil Anselmo, a cool dude, most people have known about the Cowboys from Hell for ages now

8/10

Hidden insofar a way that there has been little to no radio play (that I know of). Plus, they only come together once every few years or so.

Anyways, it's hard to find fault in the Eagles. 8/10

I don't know whatever happened to this band. While not a huge fan or anything, I thought this one was p good.

I thought it was quite good too. Pretty melodic for a rock track 6.9/10

I'm having an acid flashback! 'av it!

Now this I like! Acidic indeed. I love it when songs just managed to immerse yourself into the noise. Definitely going into my everyday-playlist. I could honestly just kill someone while listening to this song. devil.gif 10/10

From the Borderlands 2 Trailer.

I usually hate everything Nero produces, but this wasn't half bad, well up until around the 2.30 mark. 6.5/10

And now take a few minutes to listen to the legendary Deano!

Gotta love the beat. Definitely a nice song to relax too. 8/10

I see you're a Kasabian fan. Just to let you know, I'm the BIGGEST Kasabian fan on this forums. Don't you dare take that spot away from me.

Yes, that song is fantastic, 8.5/10!

Also, I'm the biggest Kasabian fan around here, I challenge you to a duel! cool.gif

A nice B-Side for you..

6.5 out of 10.0. Eh... Just not my type of song...

Blue Öyster Cult has a few real great songs, but this is my favourite of there's.

I'm gonna rate both of the songs above.

@ainsz: sh*t, I have never heard of that Kasabian track before. The crown still belongs to me though! That doesn't even sound like a Kasabian track but I still like it. Should have been on the main album. 9/10

@StoneHead: Where have I heard this song before? To be honest, I'm done with classic rock. I'm just so sick and tired of it. Sure it sounds nice, but spending so many years listening to it kinda wears you off. 7/10

6.5 out of 10.0. Surprisingly, I thought that song was pretty decent.

In respect for the "Psychedelic Hot Sauce" topic, here is a great '60s track.

It's their best tune!

I figure

9.5/10

Needing Pink Floyd just for the Rate a Song topic!! Come on, we know they are all pretty much a 10 out of 10, though

3.5 out of 10.0. Dubstep is nothing more than computer generated, out-of-tune bullsh*t.

Why's that? DneroJ, I hear ya, that one got a poor treatment, but I wanted the studio version, and this one also came to mind

10/10 for the Who Tommy classic!!

King Mystery

I'm not a huge fan of the band or the genre, but it's a pretty decent song.

6/10

EDIT: Just realized this has already been posted, but in a mashup sort of thing... well, too bad. Here's the original. It's better anyways, imo.

4.0 out of 10.0. To hell with this new-aged crap.

To commemorate the life of Davy Jones, here is The Monkees. Rest in peace.
