I really liked that song, never hear of the artist or song, I'ma look them up. 7/10

Another Kasabian title for you. I will post songs by other artists but I'm just trying to raise awareness for this amazing band right now, haha! colgate.gif

This is probably the most popular song they've released so far:

Love the stoner-esque sound. 8/10

I prefer the T2 soundtrack, DUDE, I don't know why you rib me over my music choices, but that's not any better, nope!

3/10

It's very uninteresting

Now this is par excellence!

Sorry Slam, That song isn't for me. Not because it doesn't have lyrics but personally I just don't appreciate his talent that much that other people probably see in that song, and the the tune is just not to my liking. 5/10.

This song here is one of very few modern day RnB or whatever it is that I like, the woman has a great voice I think, and it's not one of those "I'm Gangster Fashizzle" type songs.

It wasn't as bad as I imagined it'd be but Drake's parts were awful. If it wasn't for Mary I'd score it lower. She's always been cool in my books but Drake's part just ruined the flow for me. I get that some people like him but he just doesn't do it for me. 5/10.

Here's one of Eminem's finest verbal assaults. (Complete with lyrics smile.gif).

Eminem's wannabe-gangsta side is not my favourite. He's spat out far better and angrier lyrics. Argh. It's not even an uplifting beat to get my up off my seat - 6/10. [Lame]

4/10 Sorry, but I felt like there is no harmony between the melody and the singer.

Here's a little foreign rock music:

Sanjeem, Sanjeem, Sanjeem... What am I gonna do with you?, Adrian Legg is one of the best guitarists on the planet, listen to more of his stuff, tell me what you do like. I wonder if it's just deemed too slow for you??

As for the crunchy guitar backing, it's good, but it's only a start, a good riff and toe tappin' beat, needs some lyrics or leads?!? haha

That's a confusing video, it's seemingly trying to be trendy, the visuals don't suit the music too much, but I think I get there's a point to some contradiction there. I also don't get the popularity treatment she's getting here, there are other female singers just as good in my book, Belly for ya, Boy!

8.5 out of 10.0. Not one of my favourites, but a good song.

Just what this topic needs: George Thorogood and The Destroyers.

Well, I know that music from an hilarious Battlefield 3 video uploaded by birgirpall. I find it funny. 90s's musics seem cool.

8.5 out of 10.0. I grew up in the '90s, so I heard it all on the radio every single day; not that I am complaining.

I got some more of George Thorogood & The Destroyers.

Not bad since it's not a song I really ever listen to, maybe once or twice, as far as curiosity, the song done this way reminds me of April Wine, their song is much better, of course, since classic rock is really up my alley!

6.5/10

Low rating of AC DC above is shameful, dude! It's one of the best songs ever... Sin City, should have been in GTA's Vice City actually

8.5 out of 10.0. I love those Talbot brothers.

Here is some more blues rock, but not from George Thorogood.

I got on a Stones kick when our local legend FM radio station KQRS aired an A to Z of them, and like Zeppelin, and the Who, I found new appreciation because the normal airplay hits burn you out.

Exiles on Mainstreet has a lot of that prolific era of Stones, since coming out of the 60s, this was 69? Stones worked with some great musicians of the time, so it wasn't really just the band themselves. Just some amazing tunes of the era, and rock history

6.4/10 not my cup of tea, his voice doesn't appeal to me at all but it's actually alright.

6.0 out of 10.0. That is just not my type of song.

Here is my second favourite Jefferson Airplane song, just behind White Rabbit.

What about "Count on Me", from their Earth album? That was between Starship and Jefferson Airplane I think. Late 70s

Marty Balin left, then the Jefferson name was taken when Paul Kantner left the band

9/10

Earlier I mentioned the Lady GaGa po-po-poker face cover, this song came to my mind as it was buffering, it starts and stops, creating even more of a similar riff

8.0 out of 10.0. Airbourne is definitely a great band.

I thought some Cream would do us some justice.

Honestly, I am not a big Jefferson Airplane fan as I am only keen on about five of their songs. Do not even get me started when the became Jefferson Starship; they were not even as half as good as they were when they were Jefferson Airplane. With that said, I still believe that Gracie Slick has a great voice.

He's known to other guitarists, but not to casual rock fans I believe, what would you say?

Out of Shrapnel listening git fans, they may choose sides, but they are all very gifted musicians in my mind's eye

9/10

For the Starship and JS versus JA, etc, I feel differently, there are some WEAK songs here and there, that separates some of the best bands ever, but they write some classic songs, all in all, I feel there's some strong standouts from all their eras

For added proof, I can hear this song all day long, it's that "class" to me! haha Best of Marty Balin / Grace Slick
