5/10 Pretty good.

 

This isn't actually a song, but it's an improvisation. However, what fascinates me the most is what Guthrie can make up on the spot and sound f*cking awesome. Also, take note at 0:19-0:21 at Guthrie's and rhythm guitar player's faces. It shows how they simply love and enjoy music. That's why I respect Guthrie so much. He isn't a show-off.

I likes me some guitar. Odd comment about Night Ranger, but it was likely one of the first songs I heard from the band, off Dawn Patrol, a fabulous album in it's own right, then came Midnight Madness (MCA) in 1984, and most everyone should be aware of that album's hit songs!

Well, not bad. Very nice opening lick although it's not really interesting until the 2:08 mark. Sounds like a soundtrack I would've put in The Warriors or something.. Anyway, 5/10

...And then you post that song 3/10. I have bad memories associated with this one. Namely, the fact that it was so irritating. It only gets a three because it reminds me of something. If a song does that, it's worth something.

I was listening to Zisis' video also so I might as well rate his too. When I saw the band name, The Stooges, I was like, "Didn't I hear them somewhere before?" and then the name Iggy came up and I was like "Ooooh." I really like this song. Fits my current mood perfectly. I feel like I could just blackout while listening to this song any minute, and that's a good thing. 9/10

 

 

Now onto the video above me, was that a banjo? I'm a sucker for anything with a banjo. I watched Public Enemies once. Was this song played during the scene where Christian Bale was chasing that dude through the fields? The ending could have been better but still, nice tune. 9/10

8/10, I generally dislike the majority of 80s music in general, but when it's been redone and sampled into modern EDM I can't help but love it.
