Please, stop calling certain songs ''bunch of crap sounds'' as if music wasn't subjective. Maybe it's a crap sound to you, but that doesn't mean it's not music..

 

As for your song, definitely not my cup of tea. No effort in the song. Almost 2 minutes of the same rhythm, groove and yapping with no verses, bridges.. everything is just shrinked together. 2/10

How you'd think Killer Dwarfs is a new band is a bit of a mystery, they're not, they ARE from the 80s, but I got a chance to see them live at First Avenue in Minneapolis, at least, I think they're touring less frequently now

 

As for a rating, I hadn't planned on reviewing THAT, not really music in my book, sounds are JUST sounds! hahaha

For me, it's the main soaring guitar runs I like best, Schenker's so adept at such things, the songs are built around a melodic run rather then solos for solos sake.

Schenker is really a musician's musician, but the songs follow traditional form

 

As for soundtracks, I'm personally digging into Star Wars from a box set collection, but that's on a local drive, and for the Net stuff, I'm going for material I had to box up, and considering Axl's B-day, Ima pick COMA, it's amazing

I'm quite the fan of electronic music, I know a lot of people aren't and of course whenever someone brings up 'dubstep' there's a lot of connotations of annoying young kids and their 'Skrillex'.

I love a bit of dubstep too. I get why people don't like it but I have a huge soft spot for it. This track was pretty damn good. 8/10. Nice energy to it.

 

I've been awake for just over 36 hours and this song has been in my head pretty much the entire time. Bloody love it. Really makes me want to party like it's 1999.

Don't know if you know, but it's blocked from embedding on other sites, However, as I mentioned in the METAL Thread, not what I think is classic, but they've paid some dues at least (put the time and effort in) and it should pay off over time, a band committed to music for music's sake. I was watching the Guitar Center series with Seether in 3D, and I got some new appreciation over them, though more on principle then music alone.

Ah, a song that I've heard many a time in the past when travelling with uncle to visit family who at the time lived the other side of the country to me. While its a song that provides me with quite a bit of nostalgia, its not one that I can say that I particularly like. 6/10
