I was wondering if we could make it an unofficial rule of sorts to at least add a little bit about the song you're rating? I've noticed for a long time people just leave their scores and post another track, which is technically the purpose, but it doesn't tell anybody anything about what you actually thought. It's ok i didn't like the song before mine either, i usually am not so much into techno, but i liked that song.

Was a bit overplayed and it's sooo repetitive even for a Daft Punk song, but I used to be a huge fan of theirs. They are good at what they do but I don't agree with their use of samples. They can't use samples like the Dust Brothers can. I'm all for sampling, just not taking the main riff of something and repeating it a million times and adding a house beat and putting some filters and sh*t over the samples.

 

The music is great, but I just can't give them respect as original artists. Sorry for the rant. 7/10

 

If you think you don't know this song you probably will know the tune - if you are familiar with Father Ted.

6.5/10. I like the very prominent riffs and subdued vocals but the clipped distortion hurt my ears quite a bit.

9/10. Can't give anything less to The Beatles.

 

 

Pre-American Idiot, so don't hate on it just because it's from the same band. My father actually thinks it has a Beatles-ish vibe to it.

Make sure you listen to the whole song, or most of it, since its a duo, great song.

6/10, I'm not much of a REM fan, and I've never been too wild about Stipe's voice. That particular song is a little too, sorry, boring for me.

As for this song: 4/10. Never been a big Will Smith guy. He's always come off as kind of cheesy to me.
