[REL|GTAIV] XLiveLess

Recommended Posts

Using XP SP3 + GTA4 v1.0.3.0 + xLiveLess v0.95b

GTA4 v1.0.3.0 loads and runs properly without XLive (and without RGSC).

Asi loader DOES NOT work.

At least the Simple Native Trainer v2.9 no longer works, doesn't work with the A.Blade Asi loader either (dsound.dll loads but doesn't work). SNT did work with GTA4 v1.0.2.0 and xliveless v0.94 so (this version of xliveless is somehow defective or... Not!) I think it's not xliveless that's at fault, it's possible (likely) that the SNT is what's not working.

http://public.sannybuilder.com/GTA4/xliveless-0.95.rar

ASI loader in xliveless works fine, but all asi/plugins must be updated with new memory addresses (all memory addresses in the exe has been changed)

To get basic idea, look into the pachCode function in xlive.cpp

SiTWulf - saveToGameFolder.dll updated.

Works very good, but what do you think of this?

I downloaded 2 asi mods, bodyguard and ingametrainer mod, in previous version of the game they worked but now doesn't.

Do you think it's because these mods aren't updated to work on the new version of the game?

Gta Guy 108

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? I am moving the xlive.dll to the game directory, made a shortcut to launch gtaiv, put it on my desktop, then ran it, pops up the launcher, and it asks me to log into social club. I have not installed any patches or updates at all.

TheRealPcGamer
Nice update, but I've got a problem. When I start the game, it can't read my savegames and reset my graphicsettings to default. Why? Sorry for this dummie question confused.gif

Read the instructions:

* savefiles are now located in the folder:

(for Windows Vista) %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames\

(for Windows XP) %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames\

NOTE: don't forget to copy savegames to the new location

You know where's the old location right?

Copy all of the files inside savegames/userXXXXXXX/

To the new location. wink.gif

TheRealPcGamer

I'm using Vista, if you have XP maybe it a little different

Remember to SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS at the Folder Options.

Start -> Click your username -> AppData -> Local -> Rockstar Games -> GTA IV -> savegames -> user_XXXXXXXX

Copy the savegame files (SGTA4XX) and game settings (ControlMap.dat) to the new location.

I'm using 1.0.3.0, using this XLIve.dll, double click the LaunchGTAIV.exe and the game just start immediately, no need to open up the RGSC first.

Yep , same here, running perfectly fine, plus im using the "official" nodvd LaunchGTA file from Securom, no dvd in the drive to play, very good. icon14.gif
