I am trying to load Lilmcnessy's auto dealership and it never appears in my game. I have the scripthook installed but could you tell me where the .asi loader is loacated?

xlive.dll IS the asi loader.

 

DId you follow these instructions?

 

Installation

1.Make sure you have an asi loader and Hazardx's .net scripthook and Aru's scripthook

2.Place Car DealerShip.net.dll in your scripts folder in your gta 4 directory

Is there a way to install this to the GTA IV that runs off steam? I've tried dropping the xlive.dll file into the GTA IV folder but when i run the game it just brings up the social club and when I click play it crashes. Any ideas?

there is a problem with the xlive.dll, he shut down dsound.dll !?

the result, after loadingscreen the mod crash.

xlive.dll doesnt load the mod without dsound.dll, it crash at startup.

 

when i delete xlive.dll, the mod WORK, but i didnt have any savegames !

but i needed !!!

 

any ideas ?

 

what s the problem ?

The only difference between the disc and the steam version is LaunchGTAIV.exe, which is, in fact, a no-dvd in the steam version. The problem your game craches must be something else.

Do you use any other ASI-loader installed?

So basically, if I use this, I don't have to have YAAL or Alexander Blades Asiloader (dsound.dll) inmy directory, right?

 

ANOTHER IMPORTANT QUESTION, does scripthook.dll and g4mhook.dll still work properly? Because when I switched from YAAL (dsound.dll) to xliveless, the G4MHOOK logo disappeared from the starting of the game!

 

Edit: Never mind about the g4mhook.dll, I noticed that the logo only appears if I have a script in the directory that uses the g4mhook. But about the scripthook.dll, can I be sure that this xliveless really is a proper working fully functional ASI loader so I don't have to use dsound.dll? Because the game crashes if I have both xliveless and dsound.dll in the directory.

 

I have to use this xliveless, it is mandatory for me since I can't play my old save game file otherwise.

I don't know, I've just download xlive.dll from this site:

http://www.down-dll.com/index.php?file-download=xlive.dll

and extract it in the root folder of GTA.

 

Worked fine for me.

Maybe try waiting longer? Some times it takes an extra long time depending on your system specs.

I have problem with Simple Trainer v6.0. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit from few days and I installed back my GTA IV (patched to 1.0.4.0) and I used this xliveless to return my old saves. They work but when I tried to install the trainer appeared the problem that when the game load and I press start after seconds of loading GTA crashes and writes: "Grand Theft Auto IV stopped working, checking for solution".

I saw this in the first post of the thread for the trainer:

You need to run the game as administrator if running Windows Vista or Windows 7.

I am including the scripthook.dll file, in case of a new patch, this file (and this file alone) needs to be updated, so if a new patch for GTAIV is released, you can check

http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=390582 and download the redistributable, this will contain the scripthook.dll which then needs to be copied into the GTAIV directory. The Trainer.asi file doesn’t need to be updated.

I don't think the first part could be the problem, but make sure you're running as administrator. I think though if your account has administrative privileges it should work as well. But maybe not. I think the 2nd part is more likely to be the problem. Make sure you have the newest scripthook DLL. Otherwise, here's the trainer thread: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=392973

It's not working for me i tried to patch the game with 1.1 version and it did'nt work either the game opens but the profile does not load and the game starts from the beginning as a new game i f i try to delete the xlive.dll the game starts normally and the profile loads but while opening loading the game save it fails and gives me a massage load fail if i return my original save files every thing works fine i tried every thing and downloaded all xlive wrapper any ideas guys please i need ur help

I don't know what's wrong with mine...I'm using V 1.0.2.0 and the Razor 1911 crack. It works perfectly with xlive.dll and scripthook.dll in the game directory, but whenever I put a .asi file into the mix it ALWAYS crashes right after the "loading -Mission Name-". I'm using Windows 7 64-bit and I always run as admin and I've tried all the XP and Vista compatiablity modes. Someone help!! I really want to be able to use either the In-game trainer or the GTAIV Control Center. I've also tried everything with V 1.0.3.0 as well.

Hello.

I have Windows 7 x32, original GTA IV (license), last patches and updates, XLiveLess and created folder "savegames" in My Documents/Rockstar Games/GTA IV.

After installing XLiveLess game again creating saves in .../appdata/local/ folders. Of course i cant use my old saves, because game says that they are corrupted (again - Xliveless installed!).

I tried to run GTA as administrator (options has been checked at "LaunchGTAIV.exe" and "GTAIV.exe"), i running game from LaunchGTAIV.exe, as told in FAQ.

What i did wrong? There are all conditions for normal work of xliveless.

Is it possible to run the traffic felony mod or any other asi by hippie communist with xliveless because I sure can't find a way to make it run. Any help would be very appretiated.

The fact you need to update gta 4 to the latest version on gfwl to be able to save your game is very very lame, my god...

Am having trouble getting my xliveless to load my speedoIV asi mod. It says Error loading library 126 in the debug. The game loads fine and is stable but the speedo mod will not load.

With the new version of XLiveLess, i can use it with Red Faction : Guerilla and Dead Rising 2.

But i would like to know if it's possible to add Batman Arkham Asylum in this .dll .

Hey, is it just me or does xliveless prevent activities (like going bowling, playing pool, using the car wash, etc.)?

I've removed my scripts and all my .asi mods, yet I couldn't use the car wash/complete dates, though I cannot play without xliveless (using my save files at least) because, for some reason, I get an error loading save game after I choose to "start" GTA IV.

Is anyone else xperianceing this problem (not being able to do activities?)

 

I have:

• Win 7
• GTA IV v 1.0.6.0
• Fuelmod/Fuel Script/Petrol Mod (Which ever one it goes by now) v 3.0+ (most recent)
• Simple Trainer (most recent)
• EPM mod (along with 5 EPM cars)
• 5 added cars
• And Scripthook (newest version as well)

Any help would be greatly appreciated
