is it me or xliveless that makes autoaim and vibrate setting turn back to off everytime i restart the game?

 

i already tried without using xliveless and the setting doesn't turn back to off like when using xliveless.

 

anyone experience the same?

Ok. I am lost I dropped the xliveless file in my gtaiv folder but it still prompts me to sign into live.

yes it works for me,

xp sp3 2.01ghz 64bit single core athlon

1.5gb ram

512mb grfx card

3.5 .net sp3

offline machine no online

hid them in a folder all xlive filez including xlivefnt.dll xlive.dll 099b1 version, not orig 12.8mb one

works fine gets 15fps but hey no bad is playing from a usb 2.0 500gb hdd in a dock via a

1/2 metre wire to usb on pc...is surprised it even plays on external hdd @ all

has also gta tlad and tbogt episodes so now thanks to nice bloke saying about delete them

and yes my full game was still there and working continue from where i left other day when i

updated with 1.0.6.0 patch title update

mines prompted me to login to social club as i am offline i click play (offline)

and it works didnt for a day or so after the update needed to fix and finish

getting gta episodes runnin etc which i had bought day before was fixing that

but now all three working together,

So i can't uninstall RSGSC & GWFL, like i did at GTA 4??

Its a little late but...

 

I don't know about the EFLC version, but with patch 6 of plain GTAIV, if you remove(or rename) paul.dll from the GTAIV folder, RGSC won't open. Thanks to somebody earlier in the thread for discovering that.

Yes, But. I don't know if the issue in that post still exists with the latest patch and /or the latest xliveless version though. I have the disc version, so I don't keep up on the Steam stuff.

Hi guys! I have a problem with the latest Xliveless version

 

I have just bought EfLC the other day, downloaded the newest patch and everything is fine. Today I wanted to play GTA IV but could not start it. So I downloaded the 1.0.6 patch and the Xliveless 0.999b4. The game starts but I cannot activate the trainer. When I quit playing there is a dep error message (gta 4 had to be shut down by the data executive protection).

It's the same for version 0.999b1. When I delete the xlive.dll the game works perfectly, so I guess the dll causes Vista (32) to block the trainer by using the dep?

 

Any idea what I could do about this?

Make sure you have the latest version. The release notes says only "Preliminary" support for RFLC. I'm not sure exactly what that means.

 

New savegame file location(for plain GTAIV, Don't know about EFLC's)

Additional notes on savefiles:

* savefiles are now located in the folder:

(for Windows Vista) %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames\

(for Windows XP) %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames\

NOTE: don't forget to copy savegames to the new location

Listen, you played without xliveless, all your saves were saved to your XLIVE ACCOUNT, they are still in some folder but you can't use them on xliveless, as they'll get broken format. Xliveless uses another savegames, SO YES FOR F*CK SAKE, YOU WILL BE FORCED TO START A NEW GAME WHEN USING XLIVELESS UNLESS YOU'LL DOWNLOAD SOMEONE'S SAVE!

- How to exactly install the xlive.dll file

- For what is the xlive_d.dll file

- For what are the .bat files

- Why when I paste games in the savegame path, I cant see them INgame?

i have deleted one of them but the crash comes already up.
