I really don't have all the super duper graphic glitches most people have, so I would love to see fixed some other things that some mentioned: - kill the mouse when flying helicopter, no matter if you don't move it at all, all of the sudden the chopper starts to "obey" the mouse, which is far away from my hand - Either make time go slower or friends/girlfriends ask for more than 1 hour for you to get where they "live". Yes, there are taxis, but I like to drive and your girlfriend makes idiotic comments on your car/clothes. - Or, make your friends call you just one time at a week or so and schedule the "date" in your organizer. You can't be dating Packie, Brucie, Roman, Dwayne and your girlfriend for a space of like 2 hours real life, one week ingame time (bowling can take you almost half ingame day O-O) and when you want to do something else, the first friend calls in again - I have like 100 mp3s, somehow, I listen around 10 or 15 always, is like a cycle, or the random factor doesn't work, by the way, I love Weasel news that's why I have it on "radio" mode, maybe that's why is like just play the first 10-20 songs. The green and red button uses the 2 mouse buttons, which are also my fire buttons. Sometime when I have to interact with it during the game it mistakes my intentions and I wind up blasting a cop in the face with my shotgun, which isn't cool cause I get wanted stars when I didn't want wanted stars. Then if I try to cheat my way out of it I keep firing my gun, gaining more wanted stars instead of interacting with the cell. Please let us bind our own cell keys. Not really, at least I saw some people who has nvidia and has the same problem. The issue is like a horror, tons of textures are flipping visible/not visible in a strippy style, as well as the shadows... refndefn Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 With Catalyst 9.1, the game looks still the same to me. Grainy, blocky, flickering shadows; stripy, flickering shadows on buildings. So yeah the shadows are the biggest problem for me, if you just look at them, you know they're wrong. This makes it impossible to use a controller with keyboard keys mapped to the buttons. (This is not an issue with walking or driving, only helicopters). Camera Follow: Toggle Please add an additional setting under "Controls" so that the camera is ONLY controlled by the mouse and is never automatically repositioned behind the player. Or perhaps make it a slider for how tightly the camera is auto-centred (0% > 100%). Maybe I tried that All of my buddies GTA working now properly, at least the z-fight problem is fixed. NOTE: This problem is NOT the blocky flickering shadows what are talked about here someone. I can show you some pics before that, textures and z-buffering gone wrong with that issue. That problem could fixed with setting the shadow quality to lower or higher in the new settings (1.0.2.0 patch). I have a little flickering now too with the shadows, but almost undetectable. And how about letting me remap the mouse buttons? Unlike other (most) people, i don't use the cack-handed WASD controls, and i would like to be able to use the mouse bottons for things other than shoot and aim. Rant over. When you point niko at a car and press Y(on x box control pad), he often turns round and gets in some other car. Surely he should get in the one he is next to. At the end of the last mission. he has to get on a bike, but he turns round and gets on a ladder instead. Also pressing A repeatedly to get in the helicopter does not work.
