The Stoneman
Okay, yesterday I tried out GTA IV multiplayer for the first time on my new Xbox 360 and I found I was getting really bad lag spikes around every 5 seconds. I know this is not normal because it doesn't happen in the multiplayer videos on Youtube, (yes, Youtube knows all) and I have played GTA IV multiplayer on my friend's PS3 and that was fine. My question is, are the lag spikes caused by my internet connection, or some other thing? Also one other thing, if I get one of those wireless network adapter things for my 360, will the issue be resolved by playing multiplayer through that and not plugging my 360 straight into the modem via the Ethernet cable?... Probably a dumb question but I want this fixed because I want to play multiplayer. I'm in Tasmania, Australia by the way... The place where the Government likes to screw with our Internet. Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/388500-question-regarding-lag-spikes-during-online-play/ Share on other sites
