I would like it to be set in one of the three cities in San Andreas (Las Venturas, Los santos, San Fierro) along with the countryside that goes with the city. As for the character, It doesn't phase me so much but I would definitely love to see some storyline where you pick your character's path and not stick to the one storyline. He hangs out with some of the weirdest motherf*ckers ever - hippies, government black operators, blind Triad bosses, Kent Paul and Maccer - and he single-handedly saved Grove Street from turning into a row of crackhouses. But if they said I was gonna play as CJ in San Andreas again anytime soon, I would stand up, take a sh*t in my hand, throw a plastic bag over it to keep it nice and fresh, get in my car, drive all the way to Rockstar's office, walk in, and fling my turd at the receptionist, like a pissed off monkey, then steal a computer from the lobby and run away. I don't mind returning to San Andreas. It's actually a great idea. But I don't wanna be Claude, Tommy, CJ, Mike, Toni, Vic, or Niko again - their stories are told and they should only be featured as NPCs from now on. Nah, if I was to go back to San Andreas, I'd wanna be someone else. One of the bad guys from that game. Like B-Dup. Or Tenpenny. And I'd rather have a prequel than a sequel. On topic, although I like CJ as a character, I wouldn't want him to be the main protagonist in a brand new game. It would take the freshness out of it. I won't mind if he comes back as a NPC, but definitely not as the main character. Can you imagine CJ instead of Niko in GTA IV? It would suck, tbh (as if the game doesn't suck enough already ). For me, new characters always bring a sense of rawness and thrill into the game. Repeating the same characters over and over again would kill the game ultimately and doesn't really give too much scope for the storyline to progress in a different direction. You know how the Mafia are in San Fierro? Yea well they could inhabit Los Santos and you could be apart of the Mafia... The main storyline could maybe be eradicating the gangs from Los Santos.
