reditec, first of all no need to post few messages in a row. You can edit your messages if I didn't answer to the yet.

By the way, my translation is still in development, some things sound still crappy, I'll upload a better version in a few days.

You still have time before next OpenIV release.

But one thing: Could you please introduce German plural support?

http://puu.sh/h9S51/ecd93a8f0c.png

Look at the left-bottom-corner. It says: 1 Elemente gefunden.

But that's wrong. It should be: 1 Element gefunden.

For every other value but not 1, "Elemente" is okay, but not in this case.

Please just give us two variables :)

I can't because every language have different rules for this situation.

Maybe instead of "1 elements found" it should say "Elements found: 1"? That's kinda universal.

The new update to the plugin now causes the importer to crash on any Max Payne 3 models that use the crew tag.

Are you making OpenV for GTA5 or you going to use OpenIV and just update it with GTA5 support?

Any news about GTA V files? :)

Is the game already released? No. So why do you ask?

Oh, Just thought you had looked to some other files :)

I hope it won't take long time to find encryption key in EXE and open V archives.

I hope the game will have files structure like that of GTA IV and classic games, after release.

Okay, please do not expect OpenIV release with GTAV PC support today or tomorrow. As soon as we will be ready, it will be announced.

I hope the game will have files structure like that of GTA IV and classic games, after release.

The file structure is already known:

gtafolder.jpg

And it will not be changed.

And it will not be changed.

That is what I was worried about. That's sad.

They did it on purpose - to make modders sad.

So are all text files such as handling.cfg stored in the archives?

Since we do not see them here, yes they are in the archives.

Well that's really dumb of R*. Not like it would affect I/O too much by putting them in regular place.

By the way: I'm exited as hell, cause I did never play GTA V before (only watched my friend playing the first mission on Xbox 360). Tomorrow will probably be the best day this year :D

I guess most are in the first archive (It probably is the first one they read and the smallest).

What about brute-forcing the encryption key? :3

Ofcourse this could take a time, but I don't think thaat much.

I just hope u gonna do it in this / next week or something :)

Good Luck!

P.S.: Still improving the German translation of OpenIV :)

Cracking AES encryption key of which there are as many as 16 bytes is next to impossible.

@Good-NTS, did GTA V RPF format change from GTA IV RPF format?

I think archives named x64*.rpf will be unpacked after game activation.

Guys, the better question is how much did they obfuscate the encryption key in the executable compared to previously?

The world moves at a quicker pace now, if we don't get our hands on the tools, sadly YouTubers will and use that content solely to make clickbait videos whilst those of us who can actually do stuff with this get left behind waiting.

GTA5.exe is 50 MB, i guess it will take time to find key in it.

...the next day: nope it ain't that big.
