Hi There, Myself and a few friends are still having the issue regarding OpenIV and No Vehicles spawning. I'm also having a problem where I go 10 or so feet away from the safehouse and my game crashes. This didn't happen before I updated OpenIV.

 

 

Would it be possible to not force update OpenIV or have so where you could choose your update? I'm sure that would make a lot of people happy.

Agreed. I'm still hearing people have many issues that are similar to this. I believe Him1250 used the hotfix and it did not help.I'm hearing a lot of people get in game after installing a new car, and having no cars spawn, along with the trainer freezing and then a crash.

 

I have not tested anything because I've been busy. But it sounds like EFLC may not have any issues.

But I have the Original GTA V for PS3 and what I wanted to really know how to extract the files because the truth do not know the method

The other method I know is to download the ISO for PS3 GTA V and extract it on PC but I want to see the files of the DLCs

I would like to know the first method I said about how to extract the files from the original disc thus PS3 so lose less time

1.How to extract it from disk to PC

2 Do I need a key Bin PS3?

This question is not related directly to OpenIV and it definitely out of GTA Modding scope.

And I really do not know how to get files from PS3 Disk (or console), but I'm sure you can find answer in google.

The issue is must not appears on latest build because we definitely fixed it.

If you still have "No Vehicles spawning" maybe the archive was edited with earlier build, so you need to Rebuild it to get fix.

Do you understand that if I disable auto update no one will use new versions? What is the point to me to do it?

And btw, it makes no sense to disable auto update now while we fix critical bugs, and anyway you will not able to return to 2.0 or older version.

 

 

 

If you still have any isses we need to know more accurate steps to reproduce.

I'm not trying to fight here but this issue is still happening after I rebuild. I'm still crashing after I go 10 or so feet away from Niko's safehouse. I'm not getting any error codes, not even a GTA IV has stopped working. Myself and others have been able to rule out the mods that I use so in other words its OpenIV that's causing my crashing. I tried using SparkIV and it worked fine like any other day. I personally love OpenIV due to the fact that I'm a Vehicle Modder and IMO its more user friendly.

 

Also, I personally think the cause of the issues within OpenIV is the new layout of the way you can mod your game. I honestly think that the older layout was less buggy and more stable. In other words, I'd like to see 2.0 reuploaded.

I am also having the same problem as Him1250 where i cannot spawn any vehicles nor will any vehicles spawn. Also i cannot even get ingame after that moment without it crashing. Nothing is perfect dude, just go back through and see if there is anything that is out of place that could cause the game for said user to be acting like this. Not trying to provoke an argument just a possible fix. And also for people who have this problem. Just Re-Install your game after uninstalling openiv and dont install it, instead use another program like sparkiv to install your mods. At least until he can find out what is wrong and fix it for the time being.

If so, can you upload your copy of vehicles.img for me.

And maybe you can try this: Get a clear non modded vehicles.img and do the same operation like earlier to get it not working, if you will be able to reproduce it again I need to know what exactly mods you have used and what exactly you done.

The reason why we have some issues now in new archive code, this is not only layout, the whole code to work with archives was written from scratch. And btw, 2.0 also have some issues with archives editing (for example, http://gtaforums.com/topic/718416-open-iv-freezes/)

Fair Enough. I just recently tested it with my scripts ect and I am still crashing. The vehicles spawn now with a new vehicle.img but my game crashes after going 10 or so feet away from the safe house. I was also able to rule out that is is still indeed OpenIV because I've used the same scripts before.

Also, if it helps, but I honestly think it could be something in the coding of the latest OpenIV update. I know I'm able to use SparkIV just fine.

What? OpenIV is not related to those scripts at all, and it can't affect their work if you don't edit archives.

Each time at start asks updating... how to correct?

I've just released another hotfix few hours ago, make sure you have updated to it.

It's shader related stuff perhaps damage mask or something like that...

Yeah problem is in wtd, but it happens after importing,deleting or adding textures to wtd. Happened a few times today. My guess is O4 does something with the wtd when being saved.

You can open it from "Tools"->"Open file in"->"..." menu or just with OpenIV.exe.

 

Hi Guys, I followed your YouTube link to report a problem, I've tried to replace my HORNS, but I'm having no luck, it was fine before the latest update. I've even renamed them HORNS.ivaud but it just will not find them. ??

What exactly did not work? Any messages or errors?

Remember when you replace audio files in GTA IV they MUST NOT HAVE any file extension like ".ivaud".

I have a bug since 2.0. After I select one file with it, I can't select an another one. For example, I pressed on the 'movies' folder, and when I pressed on 'pc', nothing happens. It remains selected on 'movies' folder.

I had a bug as well, I can't seem to open the animation viewer.

I have a bug since 2.0. After I select one file with it, I can't select an another one. For example, I pressed on the 'movies' folder, and when I pressed on 'pc', nothing happens. It remains selected on 'movies' folder.

If it possible can you make a video?
