hmm are u sure that all materials work? because every try with metal_railing failed (when only 1 material applied) when concrete and metal_railing are on one object, it work fine!

EDIT: solid_metal_panel not working too. and btw it's an obn/wbn i try to make, in collviewer averythings fine.

seems taht the metal materials are buggy

Are you trying to load IDE file? It was corrupt in the v1.25...I'll make an update later.

Nevermind It was a Collision Material error (sand) I didn't assign it to anything lol

Let me explain how materials differ in result WBN/WBD file:

In WBN/WBD we have 1-byte field that stored material index from materials.dat.

You can see this value in Resource Explorer:

All than one material different from other is on this index.

user posted image

this is all difference between materials.

When you select DEFAULT material is values set to 0 (first material in materials.dat).

For example, when you select STONE is value will be equals 12.

Because of it if one material work on surface then all other will work on this surface too.

There can't be situation when one materials work and someone other don't work.

Ehy, i think this is my first post since all this of IV collision issues and stuff

i did my object in max(simple one, testing purposes) and did step by step the videotutorial from you 3Doomer(btw... awesome tutorial)

but once i extract my OpenIVformat collision file(OBN) the OpenIV i have(just downloaded from website, i think is build 202 from version 9) doesnt have the option to import

open collision formats to can be converted into WBN or such files(i think couse the OPENIV version with that function is beta testers only) but weirdly some guys around this post

have been doing collisions already with this formats, is there any aditional tool to convert this OBN's to WBN's that isnt beta testers only?

If not, well can you say me when it will come out the newest OpenIV version showed in videos like 3Doomer one?

I can't give it to you anymore since the program says it can't work anymore so we need a new version.

For convert/import openFormat collisions (OBN/OBD) you need used lasted OpenIV 0.9.1 build 235 or openFormats.exe.

But now openFormats is have expired date and don't work anymore, and OpenIV build 235 is still for beta testers only.

If not, well can you say me when it will come out the newest OpenIV version showed in videos like 3Doomer one?

Just wait for some few days, I will release new public OpenIV soon.

No, lasted OpenIV build 235 can convert/import openFormats.

There's no editor.

There's no new information after gtamodding.com, as I knew a few months earlier.

GIMS V1.3

V1.25 -> V1.3

+Scene check on collision export(auto fix invalid materials, polygons, pivot, etc)

+Added collision limit - 20000 polys

+Comfortable LOD selection for WPL objects
