I am getting an Application error (blue screen) when I converting xml to ymap. As soon as I drop the ymap xml document inside of custommaps.rpf, I get the error.

Wonder if Good-NTS could a add bulk add/replace files feature to OpenIV. Say you want to replace an outfit/uppr ODR with several identical ones for a Max Payne 3 playerped.rpf mod, but you couldn't be bothered to do them one by one.

You can raplace/add many files at the same time, just drag them into OpenIV, or use Add dialog and select several files.

how does openıv work on max payne 3?

maybe its cuz they have something similar?:turn:

Just add the path to Max Payne 3 when the tool asks you to once you select said game. Then edit the game as you would with GTA.

OpenIV supports games that based on RAGE game engine, Max Payne 3 is also based on that engine.

Do you guys still plan on unhashing more files from games like Max Payne 3 and a few others? I'd like to do a player pain sound mod for MP3 but some of the files appear as hashes and thus I am unable to mod them.

Today we have learned about the existence of those two plugins for Blender:

The first one is – blender_io_GTA5Ped (https://github.com/lucasvinbr/blender_io_GTA5Ped) allows you to import-export of parts of OpenIV's openFormats, focused on ped meshes and information contained in ODD and "children" ODR, .mesh and .skel files.

The second one is - Blender_GTA_V_model_importer (https://github.com/LendoK/Blender_GTA_V_model_importer) allows you to import GTA V models to Blender.

We don’t know if those will be developed further in the future but just wanted to share them with you because some of you asked about Blender support for openFormats many times.
